This, after Saddam violated the provisions of The Surrender Treaty of the Gulf War, AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES....EACH TIME THE VIOLATION HAD THE WAR PENALTY CLAUSE !!!!!
BUSH DEFEATED SADDAM'S FIFTH LARGEST ARMY IN THE WORLD IN TWENTY - TWO DAYS !!!!!!!
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !!!!!!!
Bush won a brilliant vistory WITH ZERO, or next to ZERO CASUALTIES !!!!!
But, Bush's brilliant victory spelled the DOOM for any chances for the DEMS in the upcoming ELECTIONS !!!!!!!!
There were minor skirmishes with some remnants of a HANDFUL of Saddam Loyalists, and a DOZEN or so disgruntled Baath Party Saddam political hacks. That wasn't anything that a few hundred American soldiers couldn't handle.
