Blame it on Bush's stimulus rebate.

How many people are waiting to buy things with the "free" handout instead of using their own cash?

Foon has a point there. Most people today have little to NO cash in their pockets because of the OBSCENE gas prices right now, as well as the increases in food costs.

I am gonna use my rebate to pay for the gasoline I used in August until now. It is all gone alresady. Now I need another one for my house heat.

In other words, my rebate is ultimately going to pay for a faucet in Dubai.
