Harry Reid continues pushing allegations Mitt Romney paid no taxes for 10 years

Almost 20% of the US population still believes that Obama is Muslim, which is not only irrelevant, but not true.
If 20% of the US population has a doubt about Romney, it could make the difference for him in November.

I remember when Nelson rockefeller ran for VP with Gerry Ford.

It came out that Rocky actually paid less in federal income tax than his secretary.

I think it very likely that Romney paid no taxes for years.
Tax laws for the very rich are much more liberal than they were in the 1970's

This is a safe assumption, and Romney did not deny it; he only said that he did not violate the law.

And Tiny Tim Geithner paid no taxes and was given the Treasury Secretary job. That's when he finally paid his taxes.

But Harry, I guess since Tiny Tim is appointed by Democrat it's ok then.

Tim Geithner paid no taxes until he was appointed to job he is not qualified for and approved by congress.

Look at Romney's tax plan (Ryan's too) to see what deductions/credits they will eliminate to pay their proposed rate reductions to make the reduction 'revenue neutral'(revenue neutral means taxes will not be reduced though different people/classes may pay more or less). Arithmetically the rate times the base equals taxes. Taxes can be kept at the same level by changeing either or both, depending on the change.

hint: Neither Romney's nor Ryan's plan lists any deductions and/or credits that will be reduced. Want to take bets on the group that will come out ahead?

Mr Romney legally avoided paying any taxes on his huge income, probably with massive deductions; much like rockefeller in my example, above.

The point is, Romney is shifting his entire tax burden onto the middle class. This is de facto class war on the American middle class.

Romney has given MILLIONS of dollars to charities.

Charities that HELP the poor and the needy (probably providing better help than the government does).

ANYONE can own the IRS NOTHING, if they give enough personal money to CHARITY.

Few have the means or the guts to give away THAT much money.
