I am not either a Democrat or Republican but rather an Independent. For me, the individual candidates always take precedence over the political parties. Also, I am concerned about where Obama really stands as regards racism. At 50 years of age, I have spent my whole life fighting discrimination, and I want to support a candidate who has a long-term positive record against discrimination - in this regard, I feel strongly confident with Clinton.
