Congresswoman Tubbs Jones dies after aneurysm
Democratic U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress, was hospitalized Wednesday after suffering an aneurysm, her spokeswoman said.
Tubbs Jones, 58, had the aneurysm while driving her car in Cleveland Heights on Tuesday, spokeswoman Nicole Williams said. The congresswoman's condition has been stabilized at a hospital in East Cleveland, she said.

The Illinois Medical Society took the same stance on the bill that Obama did. Are you going to claim they also favor infanticide?

The law in Illinois already declared that any infant born alive, whether by abortion or birth, was a full human being entitled to medical care and full human rights. The bill Obama opposed would have undermined R v W. In addition, under R vW, states already have the right to regulate abortion in the final three months of pregnancy. The only stipulation is that state law must make an exception for the life of the mother.

The GOP platform calls for a total ban on abortion. No exceptions. Not for rape. Not for incest. Not for the life of the mother.

Some call it the Right to Die party. Others call the GOP's stance on abortion The Rapist's bill of Rights.

Banning Roe v. Wade will not end abortion. It will kill women. The year before R v W, 68,000 women died from coat hanger abortions.

The only way to prevent abortions is to provide scientifically accurate, age appropriate sex education, accessible birth control, better adoption support, and social supports needed so that women who choose to keep their children can continue to attend school and work without losing their jobs because the babysitter falls out or the baby gets an ear infection. This is the plan proposed by NARAL in 1997, and the "religious" wrong ridiculed it then, too.

Why do you think the GOP will ever act to end abortion? The GOP has controlled the Congress and the White House and could have done so anytime. They prefer to have the issue available to whip up deluded supporters every election season.

Beyond that, existing law already requires medical aid to infants born alive, and gives states the right to regulate abortion in the last trimester. The only requirement is an exception for the life and health of the mother.

The whole premise behind this is the idea that women carry a baby almost to term, and then impulsively decide on abortion. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Abortion is always an agonizing decision, and those in the last trimester are usually necessary to save the lives of the mother.

Anyone who would deny this must truly hate women. Anyone who would bring back the coathanger abortions must truly hate women.

Obama has more then enough money, and he can't even help out his own brother. I guess he is only willing to help others, with other peoples money. A man turns his back on family, that man ain't no good.
