Well dear, perhaps you should educate yourself before calling me ignorant. Yes, they do shove scissors or other instrument into the brains of partial birth abortion babies and then suck their brains out. Deny all you like... you are ignorant.
The view I presented about animals may not be yours, but it is the view of many of your ilk. You all are mentally disturbed hypocrites.
Partial birth abortion was banned in 2003. The ban was upheld by the Supreme Court in 2007. Wanna try again Charlie? Stop lying.

Feminists know that abortions are essential, otherwise millions more teenage girls would be having babies every year!

you're just one in the dozen you get for a dime.

and as far as competition is concerned,
you and any of your type would fade and drop behind within minutes of try to keep up.

the only thing sad here is you and your little crusade that you seem to be on.

No, it's called reality DEVONS... something you know little about. Liberalism is a mental disorder and you are prima facia evidence of such. Talk about weak minded, Republicans aren't the ones so unsure about themselves, so weak minded that they need a chicken hawk like NOBAMA to run their lives and reassure them and give them a soft blanket to cover up all their ineptitude, and usher in fairness / socialism-- That would be the Democrat Party, but more specifically, you sicko Liberals.

There may be a temporary ban on Partial Birth Abortions in the US but if you Libs and NOBAMA had your choice it'd be back on.
Here is the technique and it still goes on under certain circumstances.
Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.
The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.
The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole...
The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.
"In February 2004, Michelle Obama wrote a fundraising letter during her husband's 2004 US Senate campaign claiming the partial birth abortion ban "is clearly unconstitutional" and "a flawed law." "
I believe it is unconstitutional as well. I am also perfectly okay with the ban, except in the case of saving the mother's life, because while I absolutely believe in a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy if she chooses, I also think that her decision should be made in the first trimester. JMHO.

Sounds like a transvestite to me.

I don't have anything against transvestites, I accidentally slept with one once, long story.

This is how ladies talk about people they know nothing about?

"I am a woman, and I don't agree with NOW. IMO they are mostly a bunch of ugly hags who couldn't get a man anyway. I have always wondered why women want to be equal; that would be a step-down since we're already superior!! My four daughters are beautiful, smart, kind, loving young women with families and good jobs, great husbands, out-standing children, and are Christians. Now, those are WOMEN!!!!! "

I never taught my daughter to speak in such a way without knowing what she was talking about. You are far from superior of anyone else on these boards including the silly little trolls.

Absolutley. Palin is the furthest thing from a real feminist. Palin's personal beliefs will hurl us towards the Dark Ages.

She was used to shore up the wacko christian vote and it worked. The problem is that it sent the intelligent and reasonable women sprinting for Obama.

The only thing Palin and I have in common is a chromosome. That's it.

One certainly can be a lady and vote Obama/Biden, the "catch" being one would not be a very intelligent lady! I may not agree 100% with McCain/Palin, but I disagree 100% with Obama/Biden. The sad fact is: when you nuts vote to take the country to hell, unfortunately the rest of us have to go, too. Have you no conscience?

I guess I'm the one in hell.
You were "okay" with a woman who was raped ending her pregnancy.
You were "not so okay" with women who had unprotected sex or repeats ending their pregnancies.
Those statements show that you place a different worth, or value, on those fetuses. Can you not see that???
I place a different "value" on the judgment (or lack thereof) of the women making those choices.

Look, we could go back and forth all day, and we're apparently not going to see eye to eye, because you seem to want me to say something that I'm not going to say, or you seem to believe that I've said something that I haven't. You seem to want to turn this into some version of the "where life begins" debate, and I'm not interested. We probably won't see eye to eye on that issue either, and I'd rather not waste my time debating a viewpoint that you probably won't understand.

The simple fact of the matter is this: IN MY OPINION, abortion should not be illegal. It is a necessary and viable option. However, the procedure itself should not be used as a form of birth control, when there are thousands of other ways for women to keep themselves from having children they don't want. And that has nothing to do with the "value" of the fetus, and everything to do with the choices of the mothers. Crime victims should not have to bear children they do not want and were impregnated with through no fault or action of their own. Irresponsible women who choose not to practice reasonable birth control because they can "always get an abortion" should, at some point, have to face the consequences of their actions.

Why should I care what you think of me? If you want to think I'm all dried up....that's ok. I am getting up in years which means I've known many small minded people such as yourself. They have yet to make any difference in my life.

My anger? You see anger? I'm having fun by responding to fearful little people lashing out and making stupid comments. If you want to see that as anger....go right ahead. I kind of like that. It just reinforces my idea that you haven't got a clue.

<quoted text>Lots of info, but the ambiguity of the marital status, isn't taken into account or even touched upon. For instance, was the aborted child the product of an extramarital affair, and here's the truly disturbing issue for me in this statistic: assuming the husband was the father of the aborted baby, were his wishes taken into account. The feminists are always trying to make the father as culpable in the matter, and rightfully so, yet when the rubber meets the road, as it were, the man has no say in the matter. With that mentality,ALL of the responsability should fall upon the woman who got knocked up,it was her "choice". I know there are exceptions, but they are just that, exceptions.I just don't want my money going to kill babies, and that is what it is. We are the first civilized society to fully advocate the wanton destruction of our most precious asset, all so a woman doesn't have to face the long term consequences of a mistake SHE made.
Respectfully submitted.
IMO, there is no ambiguity in that number. Either the woman is married or she's not. Whether the fetus was the product of an affair or the husband was the father doesn't matter, at least not for the reason that I posted it.

His wishes are not taken into account under law, so why would they be taken into account here? BTW, the fact that a man has no "say" in the decision as to whether a pregnancy continues has nothing to do with feminism, and everything to do with a woman's right to NOT be forced to use her body in a way she doesn't choose to.

Abortion has been around for thousands of years, we are not the first society to make use of it. What really bugs me about your comment is that in one sentence you say "his wishes need to be taken into account" but then you refer to a woman becoming pregnant unintentionally is HER mistake. You can't have it both ways.

Thank you for being polite, BTW.

I did not vote for Clinton because of his looks. I liked what he did for my pocket book. He filled it up so nicely with that nice green stuff.

Edwards? I didn't vote for him? Did you?

That's fine. I have no desire to discuss this with you further. But think about this. You don't want to admit that you place less value on a fetus that is the product of rape because to do so would force you to examine your beliefs, and you don't want to do that.

Have a nice life.

As a Canadian male, with four daughters and one hell of a great woman as a wife I know the power of women. Bathroom availability comes to mind.
I also have a belief that women should be equal in all things. Mine wife and girls certainly are.
But lets us be honest some women can be quite domineering.Palin is such a woman.
Her eyes , for these truly reveal the soul her strident voice, and a husband that stands behind her with his mouth shut does not inspire any faith in me.
I have faith, but it is in myself and my family to share with each other.
Prayer is one thing imposing it on others is something else.
This is something that should be private and not injected into politics.
Why do I say such a terrible thing, well I will make a wager with you.
Place a brick on the ground get everyone in the world to pray for it to move all at the same time . Guess what ?
