Hey Wgirlz, let me ask you a question. When did you recieve the unique ability to know exactly how mexicans felt? How do you know they all expect,as you put it "Free things that are owed to them".It looks to me ,Colorodo girl ,that your judgemental hatred is revealing your inner self,AND IT AINT PRETTY!But no hard feelings ,I deal with shallow stupidity on a daily basis.Well back to my taco wagon,I've got four "legal ciizens" that would like to purchace my burritos and tacos.

These rallies do NOTHING! It just makes Americans even more upset with illegal aliens. It's funny to see so many illegals in one spot...ICE should round them up and their kids and ship them back to their third world latin hellhole. Maybe we can burn their mexican flags too. Mexihole is a dump, and we need to cut ties with that dirty, disgusting country.

How do you figure that? If our ancestors came through the proper channels, applied to come here and were granted permission by the U.S. government before they crossed the border, went through all of the proper paperwork and went through the whole immigration process, how do you figure they were illegal? Explain that to me. |

One reason I disagree with you is that at the time, Native Americans (some of my ancestors) did not recognize or practice the concept of ownership or posssession of land, or the concept of legal borders, and did not feel that anyone "owned" the land. They felt that the land was just there, and they used it as they wished. It's hard to steal something from someone if they don't possess it. However, they did begin to resent the whites when they had to compete with them for hunting and had clashed with the culture differences. When the whites fenced off large areas that they had previously roamed over, it caused problems. |

Wgirlz: We are on the same page on almost every message board here! These rallies make illegals look extremely rude, ungrateful, and demanding. They are so lucky that out government doesn't have the balls to kick them out ASAP. Contrary to what the media says: Illegals DO hurt our economy by driving down wages. Let them march but nothing will come of it.

Taco Man: Being against illegal immigration doesn't have anything to do with hatred. Your argument is shallow at best. Quit using the terms "racist" and "hatred" anytime you deal with those against scum illegals. It's overplayed and not working for you anymore. DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS!

Actually not. My ancestors came legally on a boat from England after being thrown out of two of the best countries over there: Scotland and Ireland. |

More than 7,000 illegal immigrant criminals have been funneled from San Bernardino County jails back to their home countries in the past two years, sheriff's statistics show.
Before the federal program was implemented in 2006 at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, there was little chance that jailed illegal immigrants would be deported. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials simply didn't have the ability to reach into jails nationwide and scoop out all those who didn't belong in the country. That has changed with seven San Bernardino County sheriff's employees working full-time to screen for illegal immigrants and expedite their deportations. "It makes for a safer community for all," said sheriff's Lt. Dennis Shaffer, who oversees the program. "The majority of the ones deported are serious offenders." A third of the illegal immigrants deported since January 2006 were convicted of violent crimes such as domestic violence, lewd acts upon a child or assault with a deadly weapon. Most of the remainder were convicted of drug violations, driving under the influence and burglary. Only 116 crimes out of 4,322 were for having false citizenship or residency documents, according to sheriff's statistics. "This is getting them out of the country so they're hopefully not going to come back and commit the same crime," Shaffer said. If convicted of a crime, illegal immigrants serve their time at West Valley before ICE officials escort them back to their own countries. |

i bet that none of all you that are agaist immigration reform can be up front with their true color(Evil). Me as a guess in this country just can keep seeing how like Carlos Mencias say "tag, your it", who would be next if they are not here? another Civil WAR.pause think about it>>>>> All of YOU think you dont need the illegal worker, but in actuallity you just cant admit that the U.S. does, not Americans, since we are all in America. Let me help you with that, get a globe and look for Alaska, then look for the south most part of Chile and all the countrys in between, like it or not ARE AmericanS. SO the sloggan "SOMOS AMERICA" fits well. Oh and for once, if you all wherent Narrow minded, you could know that not all illigal immigrands are brown or dont speak english, but of course you dont know what im talking bout, just look north of your bother, and they speak Canadian.for once admit it,all you are narrow minded.dont need them(yeah right), im glad to be on the semi-safe side, but not for once would i act ungraceful tours the Good Lord for putting Me in a good statues is this country.Believe me ignorats, if people could choose were to enter the world, the U.S. would be the only place giving birth.

PerezBochito, you obviously don't understand any of the points we have made. Everyone knows that not all illegal immigrants are from Mexico. And just because someone comes from another country that is part of North or South America does NOT make them a part of the United States.
But the reason most people associate illegal immigration with Mexico is because when we see illegal immigrants marching down our streets carrying flags, it is usually a Mexican flag. Maybe you conveniently forget that every country in North and South America also has a border. And every one of those countries, including Mexico, mans their borders with border agents, and expects their borders to be respected. Every one of them. |
I second that! |

PerezBochito, another thing you don't understand, is that yes, we all know that we do need workers to come into our country and fill some jobs. But no, it does not need to be "illegal" immigrants. There are plenty of people in many countries that would love to come here and do the jobs that the illegal immigrants are doing. And they would be glad to go through the process of coming here legally. The fact that millions of people have come here illegally has slowed the legal process of immigration almost to a halt. All of the slots that should have been allocated to legal immigrants have been "stolen" by illegal workers. People complain that legal immigration process is too slow. Of course it is, because it has been ruined at this point by illegal immigration. When illegal immigration is halted, then again the legal process will start moving at the speed it should.

TacoMan, I didn't see anything in WzGirls post that said she thought ALL or in fact ANY Mexicans expected a handout or thought anything was owed to them. She simply said that her family never expected or thought anything was owed to them when they immigrated here legally.
What I did take from her post was that she was addressing issues where some Latino activists are DEMANDING, not asking that we let them stay. That in itself gives a lot of people the feeling that some of them feel that we owe them something. You seem to have a problem comprehending why some of us have a problem with people of another nation crossing our borders illegally, defiantly marching through our streets carrying the flag or their country, DEMANDING, not asking that we let them stay, and then organizing demonstrations against us in our own country. And then if we have the nerve to take offense at all of these actions they scream "racist" at us. And then someone like you uses terms like "shallow stupidity" ????? |
Hector, very well put. You are probably one of the most intelligent, thought provoking posters in these forums. Please continue with the exemplary examples of civility, common sense and intelligence. |
