Analyst: $200 oil could happen this year

At $110 and now $120 ber barrel, with gas prices approaching $4 per gallon, less and less fossil fuels are being consumed. Yet prices keep rising.
It's not about supply and demand. It's about the loss of value of the dollar which isn't even close to running it's course.

The sooner the US sheds its dependence on luxury big cars to go everywhere, the better. Notice how many oversized, over powered gas hogs roar past at well over the speed limit with one person inside. Duh!

Are you joking? Listen, most people HAVE switched to smaller cars in the United States today.

The problem is not 'big cars'(some of which get better gas mileage than SMALL cars). The problem is that in some parts of the country, a person NEEDS a big car because of inclement weather there.

That is the main reason why my parents have a big 4X4 truck: they work at a hospital and if it snows a lot, they will NEED that to get to work because they cannot just say "It's snowing.... sorry, can't come in!"

Add to that, they have no one to carpool with because they live nearly 40 miles from the place where they work.... and you see the problem there.

This isn't about 'gas wasting cars' and 'big cars' anyway: it is about ILLEGAL PRICE FIXING on the part of OPEC and the oil companies in this country.

2. REMOVE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS FROM OFFICE
3. PUT EVERY ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP BACK IN THE CAN
4. TAKE AWAY BY DEFAULT AL GORES LIAR PIECE TROPHY PRIZE
5. BUILD 50 NEW REFINERIES
6. TAP INTO ALASKA AND THE MID WEST AND OFF SHORE 1 BILLION TRILLION GALLONS OF OIL.

All of this will create millions of Americans jobs directly not including indirect jobs associated with it all.

YES... it WONT be an immediate fix as this will take 10 years to build or more but I'M **** AND TIRED OF WAITING FOR THE LAST 35 YEARS OF LIBERALS KILLING US WITH " WE CANT DRILL HERE, OF WE CANT BUILD A REFINERY, OR WE CANT BUILD A NEW NUK POWER PLANT" Aren’t YOU tired???

IN fact - studies done of core ice from prehistoric man through this age clearly show the effects of humans use of fossil fuels on warming - a clearl deilneation of warming that is out of synch with past rythems of the earth cooling and warming. Luckily, even the republican beaurecrats are monitored by other superiors, otherwise they'd probably jack oil prices upwards of $2,000 a barrel and gas prices upwards of $300 a gallon in a matter of a few days!
