So using the words "white trash" and " redneck" is different? Your not doing Obama any favors sir, discrimination works both ways.
No...I'm stating the simple fact that those who believe Obama will ignite a race war or who choose other than race based reasons to vote against him are nothing more than "redneck" and "whitetrash". If you have a more appropriate label for the hateful speech, I would welcome it. Otherwise, I'm sorry to report, that yes, in near 2010, the prejudices that claimed our grandparents continue to plague us.

BTW, don't even try to defend Simon Legree. His points are inexcusable, and trying to do so make you no different than him.

I don't find you humorous for funny reasons, but humorous for disgusting reasons- sort of like the national hot dog eating contest. Your arguments are so off base and extreme I'm not sure whether you are writing tongue in cheek, merely seeking attention online because your life is pathetic in real life, or just that plain mean, nasty, and hateful.

As for me and Barack being elite, what's wrong with that? In case you didn't notice, the C student who is President now has failed on policy on every front, domestically and internationally, and pushed the country to the brink of disaster from which there is no return. "Rome" is ready to fall, and McCain promises more of the same.

Would you want a C student performing your heart surgery? Or a student who graduated near dead last in his class defending you at trial? NO! Of course not!

That's what's so funny about the people in this country. They want an everyday man to be their President, the most important job in the world, but not to perform heart surgery or keep them out of jail. It's the most counter-intuitive fact about politics today, and symptomatic of the race for the bottom that generally plagues American society. For the most important job on the planet, doesn't American deserve better than a C student or a man who graduated dead last in his class at the Naval Academy?

By the way, to compare me to the Nazis when you are the one who espouses their ideals further proves just how whacked out and evil you are...

Maybe you're more than a cartoon...perhaps a cartoon villain, like Dr. Claw or such, considering your evilness.

If McCain was so qualified, why was he rejected as the candidate in 2000? I remember feeling as sick as you claim you feel now, in 2000, when the media clearly supported Bush, and Gore was the better candidate, and more qualified. I've felt sick for nearly 8 years, since the Supreme Court gave the presidency to the worst president in US history. Now it's your turn.

Reality, I don't think Simon is any kind of cartoon character, I think he's more like a Timothy McVeigh wannabe. He's deep into his copy of the Turner Diaries, and his fear and insecurity keep him from evolving. It's sad in a way, but also disturbing. I also think your comparison to the national hot dog contest is humorous.

No mad bomber is going to go around in a car with no tag. It would have taken them just 100 men walking back in sections of one per mile. They had 20 times that many when they searched for the three murderd civil rights kids in Mississippi. They didn`t do it becasue they had the tag after they took it off his car to set him up as a stooge. The real killers were Arab Alqedas who infiltrated his movement. We will never know the truth because he wanted the glory. Gore Vidal knows the truth and he will have his executor publish it.
As for me being anti-elite you bet your Ivy League spoiled rear end I am. Every since you all outlawed the ROTC from Stanford and the Ivy league and the draft was abolished, you all get in power and send hill billy kids around the earth to murder and maim and get murdered and maimed in your names. When the chaos comes down you will learn how much you are detested when we turn you all into swine food.
Maybe you haven't been paying attention. It's the Ivy Elite who want to bring "the hill billy kids" home from murdering and maiming in the name of the US. It's your "hilly billy" President and patsy McCain who want to keep sending them around the world.

Your belief in conspiracy theories adds to your ability to be disgustingly humorous. Since you obviously hate America, most Americans, and have no respect for the troops who protect your right to spout your hate, why don't you do everyone a favor and move to Russia or China. Maybe you would appreciate the great freedoms you have been given then when you're ability to promote your trash is prohibited.

Two words. Seek. Help.

It's so hypocritical of you to want a country born of immigrants only of one heritage (Scottish-Irish). If you believe in a true America, then you believe in giving it back to the Native Americans, whose land this really was before the rest of us arrived. Otherwise, you have no way getting off saying that it's okay for some immigrants to live here, but not others. Typical Republican/ Conservatism hypocrisy. You can already find the country you seek- it's called Scotland and Ireland. Since you hate America so much, why don't you move to one of those two countries. I'm sure they would be ecstatic to have someone like yourself there. There they have overwhelming majorities of the people you want to live with...so if you don't like it here, get out!

You are the classic example of my believe that everyone brings happiness in America- some by coming, and others by leaving. You would be the latter.

Yes, English is my mother tongue, and I don't know how you can think it isn't since each and every one of your posts is riddled with grammatical errors.

By the way,'Nam was JFK's, LBJ's, and Nixon's war, not any of the ones you mentioned. Not sure what you were trying to say there, perhaps you could clarify.

If your precious Scotch-Irish 'seed' means so much, why are you here, when there are not one, but two countries where you can spread this valuable seed? You can live in Scotland and go all braveheart.
And it's the elite at the Bohemian Grove we need to worry about. I don't imagine they will invite Obama.

Do a Google search again, and you'll find that this guy first has done nothing that you have claimed (in fact, he was a pioneer and leader in bringing democracy to Kenya), and second, isn't even a blood relative of Obama. Nice try on the attempt to smear Obama, but like just about every other attack on him, it's baseless and without merit.

If you want to talk about a real issue about terrorism, let's talk about the Bush family's connection with the bin Laden family. This is a real relationship that has existed for decades, and brings into question Bush's all too often forgotten actions of allowing all members of the bin Laden family to leave the country on 9/11 after the towers fell. This was an executive decision, and has never been adequately explained to this day.

Do a Google search on that.

Well sir, Obama is also proof that with very little experience a politician can be corrupt, vote based on politics and not as a representative for Americans he represents.

So Iraq's Prime Minister should set policy for America and we as a nation should vote based on what Iraq's think? REALLY!

Liberals continue to exaggerate what McCain state. He clearly states withdrawl is based on events on the ground. Here is a question? In the history of war, when has the US told their enemies when they will remove our troops and in what levels? The only possible benefit stating when when we will leave is POLITICS. It has no other value to this nation! It does have political value for Obama to get elected. AND THAT IS THE ONLY REASON, OBAMA KEEPS OFFERING A TIMETABLE. Not what's best to keep our troops safe, not what's best to keep Iraq safe. Just what helps him get votes!

No, McCain is not the flip flopper on Iraq, Obama clearly is. And Obama won't even ADMIT the SURGE WORKED!

Finally, the Op Ed was refused due to the fact the NY Times supports Obama totally. You mean the NY Times that ran a story about McCain and an affair that NEVER happened. Numerous journalists came out after the NY Times ran that article and said a) there was no facutal information to support the article and b) they reserach the same rumot and found it totally unfounded. Yet, the NY Times had to run it. No creditability! The NY Times is not journalism!

You want me to deny that McCain has more experience than Obama when he is almost 30 years older? Seriously? I mean, that would take a lie on a level of Rovian proportions to pull off. I conceded the fact, and McCain's record is proof of the ONLY absolute truth in politics: Experience does not make you better, just more corrupt.
Do your research. Al-Maliki blatantly said he favored Obama's plan. Even Fox News reported this. And you still have to explain what McCain's plan for Iraq is....so far it's just staying in Iraq. He could avoid a lot of guff if he would just say the conditions for leaving Iraq...ie....lower troop deaths, citizen murder rates, growing GDP, restoration of basic services like water and electric, etc. NONE OF WHICH IS TIED TO A TIMELINE. McCain is flip-flopping once again and trying to have it both ways by saying "conditions on the ground." (Consider the reason for this is connected to the huge donations he has taken from DOD contractors who are cashing in on the war and want to never see it end).
That is why his Op-Ed was rejected. If you read it (which clearly you haven't) you would see it's no more than a political ad/attack against Obama. It has nothing to do with the NYT's left-leaning bias...McCain has had 7 previous Op-Eds published there, but when you submit an article that says nothing, what is the incentive to publish it? They even invited McCain to submit an Op-Ed where he makes a coherent argument...but considering he still considers Czechoslovakia a nation, Iraq a country that borders Afghanistan, and Shia' and Sunnis the same people, I don't expect much from him. McCain's "foreign policy" experience and knowledge has revealed itself- scant, at best.
So, the real question is, if he admits he is clueless about the economy, and he demonstrates he has no knowledge of foreign policy and very little influence, then what does he have? Exactly. Nothing.(UNLIKE OBAMA, who has all of this, despite his youth).

Get Informed-

Corrupt? I believe it's McCain who has taken the majority of his fundraising from Big Oil companies and Department of Defense corporations, among others. Why else does he favor staying in Iraq? So that his main contributors can keep making a dime off the American taxpayer.(After all, the price of gas was around 2 bucks a gallon in March of 2003, and whose had record profits since that time? OIL COMPANIES). Obama's corruptness- pretty much non-existent considering he has the largest individual fundraising base in history and has stood up against corruption in the Congress in his first 4 years in office. McCain violated his own campaign finance bill. Please, spare me.

It's true that America has never told its enemies when they would withdraw, but then again, America has never gone to war over purely corporate, and not national security, interests. In every other war, America was fighting a country or the spread of a rival country's influence who were true enemies of America. In this war, America attacked an independent, autonomous country who had never attacked Americans off of Iraqi soil. And please, spare me that "Oh Iraq violated such and such a UN clause. Or Iraq killed its own people." If that's your position, why did we never do anything about Darfur or other African or southeastern Asia countries where there are/were dictators who violate the UN and kill their own people before we invaded Iraq. Precisely. OIL. Besides, as the most stalwart of Republicans, Jesse Helms wanted the UN disbanded, and now Republicans use them as the lone excuse to fudge a reason for going to Iraq. Please, even this hypocrisy is disgusting.

I think that Obama would admit the surge worked if McCain would admit the Iraq war was the greatest blunder in American foreign policy. I think that's a fair trade. The war has done nothing beneficial to America. It has made us less safe, put us in 9 trillion dollars in debt, and increase the price of oil 300%. But my point still stands- if the war had never happened, the surge would not have been necessary.

And yes, McCain IS THE FLIP FLOPPER ON IRAQ. Do your research and you'll see that in 2004 he said that we should leave when the Iraqis ask us. Well, earth to McCain, turn up your bell-tone, they just did. But now, he has FLIP-FLOPPED and stated "when conditions on the ground permit." Sorry, John, but for an illegal war I'm gonna need some specifics. The Republican Party has lost the trust of the majority of this nation (hence Bush's 27% approval rating), so set your standards high, but make them nonetheless so it's clear when this illegal war can end. Otherwise, it's just a sacrifice of our brave men and women for the profits of Blackwater, Exxon, Mobil, Haliburton, and KBR.

True, NYT has a liberal leaning bias, and true they get stories wrong (BTW, not nearly as often as Fox News gets stories wrong. I mean, they have a daily retraction statement buried on their website. Talk about NO CREDIBILITY), but they even invited McCain to come back with a more specific plan, and as of now, he has yet to do so. Why? BECAUSE HE HAS NO PLAN. Stop defending him. NYT has run more Op-Eds for McCain than Obama over the last 8 years. If they were that biased, they never would have done that in the past.

Legree, I'm not responding to your trash anymore. Move out of your parents' basement and find a girl so you can stop seeking attention from the intellectuals from both sides who post on this website. My IQ takes a hit every time I read your drivel.

Um...he didn't bring those there. In fact his visit was unannounced and people assumed he would be there. Nevertheless, your Christian savior McCain has never visited the Western Wall...interesting considering he courts the whack-job religious Right vote.

Ever consider that those people brought those signs there, in poor taste nonetheless, because Obama represents the hope of the world that you try to hide and cover through your lies, smears, and insults hurled against those wise enough to see trough McCain, Bush, and the Republican lies. For the Religious Right to insist Obama has no Israeli support and poses a threat to Israel, those signs confirm quite the opposite. Where are McCain's Judaic and Hebrew signs?

Real Americans do care, and that's why this election has seen record number of individuals giving to campaigns (mostly Obama's) and record turnout in the primaries.

Real Americans aren't fear-mongers, racists, bigots, and homophobes like yourself. Real Americans are those who are tired of the lies, corruption, fear-mongering, and polarizing that you and the Republican party stand for, and who are finally saying enough is enough and standing up for themselves. My family came to America in the 1650s to escape the Counter Reformation in Europe. So, as a "Real American", I bet it must be scary for homophobes and bigots who unfoundedly fear Obama.

Wake up and begin to fear what a McCain Presidency would do to this country, this economy, and this planet.
