Country star praises Obama

Sen. Barack Obama is getting praise from Nashville, courtesy of one big, patriotic country star.

Toby Keith, perhaps best known to non-country audiences for his post-Sept. 11 song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," says he's a Democrat, and was impressed by the senator from Illinois.

You expect the "Hollywood Liberals" to be for the Democrats.

But praise for Obama from a country music icon? What's next, NASCAR drivers for Obama?

You KNOW it's a bad year for the Republicans.

Somebody buy Toby Keith a round of beer for his horses!

Toby Keith said- "And I think he's the best Democratic candidate we've had since Bill Clinton. And that's coming from a Democrat."

Heck, if I was Obama I would be offended by that.

"So I thought it was beautiful the other day when Obama went to Afghanistan and got educated about Afghanistan and Iraq. He came back and said some really nice things."

Yup, those politicians say a lot of really nice things. Problem is that they tend to lie. Unfortunately people tend to believe them and for some odd reason celebrities really have a hard time discerning between truth and lie. Maybe it's just the ones the media tends to report on.

He'd better be prepared to give up his guns along with every other American that Obama wants to disarm.
Just another step towards a dictatorship. They're already dumbing down the country by letting all of these third world country illegal aliens invade this country.
I believe there will be a civil war before some of us give up our 2nd amendment rights.

Yep, we're a dumbed down society when there are people for whom gun ownership is the only issue. The current administration has acted more like a dictatorship that Obama could possibly. From saying it's none of our business that our energy policy was written by big oil, to wiretapping citizens phones, to invading another country without provocation, to interfering in right-to-die cases, to claiming that our laws don't apply to Bush, and on and on. McCain is promising 4 more years of eroding civil rights.

This seals the deal. Toby Keith is like the pied piper of country bumpkins everywhere. With this Toby Keith endorsment, Sen. Obama just won West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas.

Both major parties are worthless. Neither party could read the Bill of Rights. They are all a bunch of warmongers, gun grabs, porn users, illegal loving Godless politians.

It Makes sense. The Democratic platform best helps Middle and poor Whites so why support John McCain who is behind the Very Rich? McCain doesn't give a Damn about the working Class except to speak out against MiNIMUM WAGE increase and cleaning his 7 Houses for pennies.
