NBCs Tim Russert Dies

He was my favorite media personality. You could always tell he loved what he did, unlike some of his colleagues. He will be missed.

Russert was a lifelong yellow dog democrat who couldn't put his political bias away while in the performance of the job. I considered him one of the most biased Anti-GOP reporters in the world.
Maybe his death will balance out the bias of the NBC network.

He was much too liberal for me, I like fair and balanced news coverage.

I heard he had a crack habit.. and he OD'ed... naw I am just kidding, I liked the guy, he will be missed.

A true Buffaloian, he will be greatly missed..

Truly! A loss for us all. He somehow stayed above the fray and managed to come across as honest and decent, and thoughtful. Who'll fill that role now?

I hope he and his family had a wonderful time and his family will have wonderful memories of their last days together.

This is a real shock. It would have been the most exciting election coverage of Tim Russert's career, too. Sorry he'll miss it.

IMO Russert was one of the more likeable card-carrying members of the biased liberal media.

Maybe it was his Buffalo, blue collar background that made him a bit less snobbish and more down to earth than many of his peers.

IT will never balance the anti GOP bias,but its one less liberal....The man has a family so lets have sympathy of course if it was LImbaugh, or Sean Hannity,the left would be laughing thier butts off,so lets not lower ourselves to the left and thier level

Maybe it will. But for the next 24 hours let's put the politics aside and remember he was a human being with friends and family who are grieving.

Tim was one of the rare examples of a fair journalist/interviewer. He didn't cut any breaks with anyone...Dem, Rep or Ind. He will be missed.
