The real mirage is the democrat notion that the government is the solution when it's the problem.
Don't even come at me with a bunch of liberal bilge and propaganda.
Were you describing George Bush?

>"do what ever they want"- like Bush invading Iraq, giving up on Osama Bin Laden and abandoning Afghanistan, and going against 4 amendments to the constitution.

>"extend themselves financially"- like having 400 billion dollar deficits, adding 4 trillion dollars to the debt, a worthless dollar, and a war not paid for.

>"then send the bill to someone else to pay"- yep our children and grandchildren will pay and Bush will live a happy retirement and make his million dollar speeches.

>"democrat notion that the government is the solution when its the problem"- first problem is George Bush, ignorance, arrogant, liar, incompetent. Second problem, government can be the solution. Become energy independent, fix the dollar, the deficits, the debt, don't believe in stupid neo-con ideologies, laissez-faire is for dummies, create taxable middle class jobs inside this country. Fix the infrastructure. Get the illegals across the border just like Eisenhower did, make sure our food is safe since we have to rely on foreign made goods, and finally make science great again.

Demented or drunk, hmmmmm. How did I know that would be your intelligent reply? What you liberals seem to miss is that a minor blip in the enonomy doesn't affect those who have exercised personal responsibility in their lives. Wanna drive that SUV or your pickup? Be prepared to pay a lot more at the pump. If you can handle that, fine. If not, you didn't prepare well. Try car pooling for a while. Food prices are too high for you? Look for sales and stock up. Clip coupons. I'm not very pleased with $4/gallon gas but with a little bit of adjustment, I'll get by just fine. As a matter of fact, the Bush stimulus package pays for my gas for a full year.
Yes, everything is just fine for you. We just don't care if companies go broke or cut back. Look at the airlines. Look at everything associated with oil-and it will go up in price. And the stupid stimulus package just adds to the debt. Which tells us that the Bush tax cuts have failed. And it failed in three ways. It added to the debt, we ended up with near 0% growth, and it is wiped out with higher fuel prices. So the average guy gain nothing. Thanks Bush, your brilliant.

They showed me the importance of education, they showed me that college was a must, they showed me the ethics that dictated my paying back my student loan when other kids were defaulting due to a loophole and they showed me how THEY worked their tails off for the benefit of the family they raised. We had NO SHORTCUTS. We were blue collar all the way. I was the first in my lineage to attend and graduate college and I was FAR from "priveledged". There were no "bank robberies" or "cheating" in my family. There was a lot of tough love and personal responsibility. The "instant gratification" crowd on the left should try it sometime. It's a nice feeling to earn things.
I'll take on your junk anytime. Personal responsibility is a democratic value not a republican value. Your parents would have been far better off supporting a woman's right to choose and end that pregnancy with you for the good of the world.
You are a cheap trapping ho bag. And if you are a guy which you aren't you must have been pushed around and teased your entire live.

And this, is his legacy - from CNN this am: The Massachusetts-based Physicians for Human Rights reached that conclusion after two-day clinical evaluations of 11 former detainees, who had been held at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and in Afghanistan.

The detainees were never charged with crimes.

"We found clear physical and psychological evidence of torture and abuse, often causing lasting suffering," said Dr. Allen Keller, a medical evaluator for the study.

In a 121-page report, the doctors' group said that it uncovered medical evidence of torture, including beatings, electric shock, sleep deprivation, sexual humiliation, sodomy and scores of other abuses.
What a great guy - the schrub doesn't believe this is torture.

I agree with you, its our congress and senators that do not and can not work together or come to any kind of agreement on the write areas that need fixing in our country, but we bomb the tar out of Iraq and then spend billions rebuilding back for them.... I dont understand it

Actually, I was referring to the average citizen with regards to a comment made about minimum wage or, as the utopians refer to it, a "living wage". I know the temptation to go into a Bush Derangement Syndrome seizure is overwhelming for you, but, I wasn't describing George W. Bush.

Please stop talking about securing the border and energy independence. You guys on the left have such a hard on for keeping us from drilling and refining domestically as well as developing nuclear power resources that our best options are unattainable (but you'll still complain about it like a woman sitting in a warm cafe complaining that it's taking her husband too long to change a tire outside in a driving rainstorm). As for securing the border, don't you think continued services for illegals to include driver's licenses make it harder to secure the border? I mean, if you're pissed about the border and energy independence, you need to get up your boy Obama's colon.

As if raising taxes on people, the democrats answer to the economic situation, was the right thing to do. I remember Jimmy Carter - maybe you ought to crack open a history book and see what train wreck he made of the economy. Jimmy Carter is relavent to the discussion because Barack Obama appears to be parrotting Carter's policies - which are the REAL failed policies of the past.

Fear Mongering:
R= Terrorism (any evidence?) Lets see, they preach hate against us, develop nuclear technology and openly tell the public they want to kill westerners (infidels) rape women, training children with weapons, give disabled (retarded) women bombs and when they walk into a building THEY press the button to detonate. Oh yea, 9-11, ummm.... blew up the USS Cole, god, I could go on for years. Oh, check the news, there is a school in Virginia (muslim school) teaching AMERICAN muslims its ok to murder infidels (basically anyone who isnt muslim) etc....

D= Global Warming (any evidence) wow, scandal everywhere, and if you personally havent looked into the statistics you are a worthless American. The tables they used are biased and manipulated, the "scientific discussions" go both ways. Gore uses Chinese cars as examples for his stupid movie, oh wait, we dont have chinese cars because they have ZERO emissions systems installed, and they dont have the fucking money to purchase American cars. Emissions cost money, ever heard of a catalitic converter? Thought not... If this shit isnt fear mongering I dont know what is. You guys think Obama is for the little guy? Look at what his proposals are. His speach was honest on Fathers Day, but is he going to help stop what put alot of blacks into a systematic depression? No, hes for the very systems that started it. Egh...

You guys need to wake up and do some reading, stop watching the news, get online, and look up both sides of the question and do some reasearch, the facts are there, you just have to find them. Use some common sense, and for the love of God; read history.

Americans are so fcuking spoiled, grow up.

History will INDICT the "current occupant," not "vindicate" him. One hundred years from now, George Bush will, in all probability, be judged not only a slack-jawed escapee from the armpit that is Texas, but also as the absolute worst United States president. I hope the shame of being related to him causes his descendants to change their names, as have the descendants of Stalin, Hitler, John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald and other such shameful people have done. His "occupancy" (I won't demean the office by calling it his "presidency") of the WHite House shall be over within a year, and no matter who's elected, there shall be great rejoicing throughout the land.

You gotta love someone from Florida, who has f*cked up two significant elections, making fun of someone from Texas. The irony is inescapable.

Did you vote for Pat Buchanan in 2000?

Never said I was a democrat, just a perfectionist. Once again, Bush comes on TV today to talk about energy and he is not credible. He never goes far enough. Where is his commitment in have an energy council? Has he ever said anything about his low dollar policies, or putting regulation back on the speculators. Bush could do so much more. Where is that cheerleader that did so well to sell us on the war and on his tax cuts. In which all of his policies have failed. One thing Bush has shown is that he couldn't run 3rd grade.

Hitler, Stalin, god, do you know history at all. Id like to see you make a comparison between these people and Bush, AND democrats. Find out who's view are the most similar. I dare you, but be warned, you have to read stuff that might require you to think, so be careful.

This is not a cut or anything like that. But there are a lot of economic books a person could read. On the other hand they can get boring.

In any case all presidents have made mistakes. It is just that Bush believes in an ideology that does not work. At least when you add up tax cuts, a war to pay for, and no cuts in spending will never work. So today we have annual deficits of 400 billion dollars, the addition of 4 trillion dollars of debt, and a worthless dollar. As opposed to when he first came into office we had an annual surplus, the debt was at less than 6 trillion dollars and will be over 10 trillion dollars, and we had a sound dollar. And there are many other problems added on. A total disaster.

And you mustn't forget the Iran Contra debockal
The millions and millions that went for that cover up. Those events during the Reagan's administration began as an operation to increase U.S.-Iranian relations, wherein Israel would ship weapons to a moderate, politically influential group of Iranians opposed to the Ayatollah Khomeini; the U.S. would reimburse Israel with those weapons and receive payment from Israel.
Behind the backs of Congress and the American people. That peice of shit Reagan! Glad he's dead that B-film freak.
