After weeks of uncertainty about the future status of a post office in Smithville, talks are under way that could lead the U.S. Postal Service to re-establish a presence in the tornado-ravaged town.
The town of Smithville, MS definitely needs a Post Office. The residents presently are required to drive 8 miles to Amory,Ms to collect their mail. This is inconvient and expensive. Thank your time and coinsideration.
