This is frightening. Where are all of these "uncounted for" missiles? Who REALLY has them, and where are they going to be used??

If this country had a different foreign policy this wouldn't be something to worry about.

Please elaborate, Exo. I can kind of see where you're going with this. I'd like to hear your take on it!! Interesting input there, for sure...

It's a bitter pill to swallow for most, but in my opinion it is the truth. Terrorism is a problem spawned from our own countries actions on a global scale. The CIA or US government has supported the overthrow of many legitimate governments in favor of ones that would support US interests since the end of WW2. As Great Britain would attest to, "such is the price of an empire".

With all that's going on betweem the U.S., Iran and Israel and the threat of attack by the U.S on Iran sounds like they could have been sold to the Iranians. Shoulder launchers (anti aircraft missles) can be used less detected than like the scuds were, but can take a plane down. The Iranians kept the nuclear makings hidden in the mountains for a long time till the U.S. just found out about them.

Dang, I got 5 whole hours of sleep. Or should I say three, with two of flopping like a fish between the sheets. I abhor these bouts of insomnia that jump on me... See what I meant in the previous thread? LOL!
There is so much more havoc brewing that the citizens of our country are unaware of, I'm sure. This is just the beginning. And unfortunately, what I see if the beginning of our end. We've made so many enemies, just as Exo stated.. Enemies that are friendly in face only.... I realize that some of the Topix users are sick and tired of seeing the "Hundreds of bird dying" thread, but you should really take a peak into that posting. Some of the people posting in there really have some interesting theories... And it seems that a few have some contacts that are quite interesting... Give it a shot, if you can get around the idiotic naysayers in there who are only a nuisance....
I'd imagine if we knew what was REALLY going on, we'd have anarchy in our own streets.. Our government infrastructure would crumble. The Internet has opened our eyes to so much more than would have been available to the average Joe even as few as ten years ago..("Wiki Leaks", anyone)?
The old adage "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" could never ring more true these days..

The old adage "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" could never ring more true these days.. Almost 20 years ago I was at a Billy Graham crusade in Indiana and I remember him saying he believed that, "If we knew what was coming in the near future it would turn our hair white over night". I believe he is a smart man. A Nuke war would not turn into a cold war as in the past wars. Talk about "Shock and Awe". We ain't seen nothing yet. They're not telling the people the real story. Just like the fallout from nuclear test sites in the past, and the damage it is still doing. Controlled? Scientists say no way!

Right? Take a look at our Presidents after they have pulled their terms in office.. They've aged ten to fifteen plus years in appearance by the time they leave the White House. I sincerely believe that the things they're made privy to, physically age them due to a horrified burden for humanity.
So much is kept from us "For our own good", huh? I also believe wholeheartedly that even the POTUS is not aware of everything that's going to happen. I wonder just WHO is behind some of the Top Secret issues that even our Presidents have no clue of..

Gadhafi took those missiles with him when he passed over. He needs them in hell. He has to fight other dictators already there.

I blame this on those fools at the NTC. These missiles should have been secured! They could now be in the hands of anyone, and they pose a tremendous danger to aircraft.

I have an immediate family member that fly's frequently due to their employment. It scares the heck out of me. It frightened me half to death even before I ran across this news story last night... Now I'm more worried about their safety than ever. I absolutely loose sleep when I know they are traveling, either here OR abroad..

Why are you hanging everything on NTC, you are the idiot fool Mr. suspicious, no body knew the hiding places of those missiles, neither rebels nor NTC. Aren't you coming Mr. armchair critic? Aint you going to fulfill your promise?
