Dodd addresses housing concerns to Danbury chamber

Countrywide says they gave Dodd a special VIP rate. This after they and their lobbyist cronies poured thousands of dollars into his campaigns. Dodd is actually saying he didn't get ENOUGH of a special deal! After all,$75K isn't much of a deal for a Prince of Perks and Privilege. It may be more than you or I get. But it isn't enough for Dodd. And to top it off, he wants taxpayers to pay $300 billion for his incompetence on the Senate Banking Committee and his dalliance with the mortgage bankers.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Dodd is arrogant, entrenched and entitled. That smurk on his face says it all. Dodd has to go.

How nice of him to get a 4% special rate when other country wide customers are lossing their home to sub prime loans from the very same company. Senator Dodd you are a embarassment to every Connecticut voter. I'm ashamed to say that in the past I have supported you with my vote. Your arrogance is unbelieveable. As the head of the banking commitee you should never accept any VIP treatment from a lending institution. You should resign!

Johnson gets a sweetheart mortgage deal and he resigns as Obama's Veep vetter. Conrad gets a sweetheart mortgage deal and he donates the ill-gotten savings to charity. Dodd gets a $75K sweetheart mortgage deal -- from the very people he is supposed to protect us from -- and he wants to rubber stamp a lobbyist-prepared $300 billion bailout bill AND he doesn't even know the current interest rates!?! This from the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee!?!

Dodd is both dumb and crooked.

Dodd has been giving a pass buy the press most of his career, he is arrogant he always has been. HE AND THE Senator from Massachusetts has been abusing woman during their career and really reported in the press. Dodd is a main support of most suppress reigns including Castro, and Hugo Chavez. Dodd gets contributions from the financial industry and he gets a break on his mortgage Dodd is using his position to rescue the mortgage industry with a bill for $300 BILLON. Dodd is a main player in his party that is driving up the cost of every food and energy.
The presume Democratic nominee is the pocket of the special interest group for ethanol. It takes more energy to produce a gallon of ethanol than ethanol produces. Leave Dodd alone he is a typical Democratic. He is entitled get over it .
