Great idea but shouldn't stop with those working in the medical field already. I am getting out withing the next 40 days and will be going to school for LPN. That is something that was practically impossible to do while on active duty. I would have loved to take science couses with lab and other courses you actually have to go to class for. I have always been on sea duty and isolated duty overseas. If there is such a shortage of Nurses, make sure the people on sea duty can take the couses leading up to at least a 2 year RN degree.
