Dole, Burr reject immigration bill

I think that all people should have equal rights and we shuld help people that really want to make a big change in their lifes as well in society. I met this woman that she used to hate illegal immigrants, then a few months I saw her on the bus and I ask her how is everything she answered really sad, that her biggest mistake was to hate people that relly have nothing to do with their parents problems she was talking about her sons doctor, this doctor came illegally to this country and he graduated from UCLA. And he was the one that save her sun's life. Now after been republican and racist for almost fifty years she is joining the immigrants rallies in support of the illegal immigrats that are here studing and they want to make a difference. Always think you are the foreigner before you discriminated against.

I sure am glad to see somebody for the American people.These illegals need to be sent back to Mexico and if they want to come back, do it the legal way. Does any one really think we could go to Mexico or any other country and get away with what the illegals are here? We need leaders with backbone ,not wet dish rags saying, oh it's ok , come on over. We'll give you what the Americans have worked so hard to pay .. it's tax dollars. You can have them for free. I think not...

Yes, instead of the sob stories about why their criminality should be rewarded, we need Leaders to enforce our Immigration Laws. Legal Citizens get a slap in the face when we give lawbreakers rights that belong to American citizens, not invaders.

We need Leaders who enforce our Immigration laws. If I went to another country and forced my way in only to give sob stories and faulty arguments for my criminality, I'd be laughed at and rightfully so.

It's a shame these people cannot comprehend....follow the Law. Come legally or don't come. Do not expect to be rewarded for your criminality. You entered illegally and that is a criminal act. Don't bring up the Native American Indians, etc etc all your usual arguments. The Native Americans did not just appear, they travelled here across the bering straits. This Nation was formed under the Constitution and the rule of Laws. Those laws when followed helps us maintain some harmony. We don't fall under reckless mob rule.

So we must deal with where we are today. NO MORE AMNESTY. Assess our immigration situation and decide how many immigrants we can reasonably allow to enter this country. We only have so much resources that are for Legal American Citizens.

So we're all racist because we are tired of illegals marching the streets DEMANDING we give them what they want? Your story is bullsh1t and no one is buying it.

No doubt in my mind that this letter was written by an illegal.

I and my wife are natural born American citizens. When it was time for my two children to go to college I worked two full time jobs and my wife worked one full time job besides taking care of the house.
Who the hell are these illegals to be given free education, medical, etc.? They have one hell of a nerve demanding these services.
I also guaranty that I will not vote for any politician that wishes to continue giving them these benefits or extending their benefits.
I've stated this to my elected officials and hope everyone else will do the same.
Enough is enough!!!!!

If he were ILLEGAL, how in the hell did he get into UCLA med school? Republicans are NOT the racist party. Democrats are the ORIGINAL party of SLAVERY and RACISM.

I am a democrat but I agree with Dole and Burr on this.Just being born here should not make you a citizen. If you are born of illegals then you should be illegal.Also being in America doesn't or shouldn't give you constitutional rights. Tell me a country you go to and are given citizenship rights for being there. Yes America is different and has a place for all legal people but it is a slap in the face to the ones who have come here through the legal channels to just ingore the law for some.We do still have laws. I think.

That's a scary idea. Heard somebody on TV say that last night. Wasn't listening really so I can't say who. Revolutions are for young folks. I favor peaceful evolution using the means provided by the Constitution.

What amazes me about this whole illegal immigration debate is the insertion of some notion that these people are coming here with some ulterior motive like to drain our country. I don't think so, they come for jobs, not welfare. I see them in my doctor's office and enough of them are going there that they offer bilingual support. Does anybody think they are getting free health care from a private physician? I don' think so. These folks must have the better paying jobs in construction.
