Not once does Mr. Henson discuss clean water. Why is that? This alarmist seems not to care on whit about it. Well, that's what these bills are designed to promote, and that is a good thing. Perhaps Mr. Henson is pushing the alarm button because he views his "property rights" to be more important than the community's "property rights." I don't know, but considering the tone of this LTE, I'd think twice before buying what he's selling.

Excellent article! "Navigable waters" were put under the Army Corp of Engineers on the rationale that it would affect interstate commerce, and thereby give the federal government control. Some "navigable waters" are already only navigable by small tadpoles, but never mind that. When/if it becomes just "waters," that includes the tadpoles in your front yard, and a clear intrusion of private property rights.

Thank God for watch dogs like Steve Henson and R L Clark. The negative positions by the above writers tell me they aren't property owners. What the Federal Government is planning on doing scares the Hell out of me.

The proposed bill seeks to move large amounts of land from private hands and under control of the government. I'm all for clean water but opening land to everyone will not clean our water.
The proposed revisions do not clean water they just allow every american the right to pollute them, disturbe wildlife and run amuck.
