With the bag of losers and liars the Democrats are trotting out this time, the GOP could endorse SpongeBob and win.

"Several of the candidates for Minnesota governor on Thursday openly advocated tax increases as a way to restore education funding and fix other essential services that were slashed in the state's recession-hammered budget."

Oh wait, that was the democrats.

Republican Candidates:
-tax breaks for all.
-cut spending increases
-fewer abortions on demand
-honest leadership

Democrats/DFL:
-Increased taxation on ALL
-Increased spending
-more late-term abortions
-criminals out of jail earlier
-legalized marijuana
-State Budget Bills with no financial data to be filled in after being passed by Full Legislature

Let's see, who do we vote for - a party that wants fiscal responsibility (Republicans) or a DFL Party (Democrats) that want to take us back to the Depression-Era. As well, whose President has doubled the National Debt and his Economic Policies have increased unemployment from 7.7 (end of Bush Administration) percent to 9.9 percent.

I'm an independent. Get rid of the welfare moochers. Get out of people's bedrooms, I don't care about abortions and I'm sick of hearing about it. That's a woman's bizness. Reform the schools and get rid of unfunded federal and state mandates. Sunset pointless and useless state agencies. We need some kind of health care. Get the crazies off he streets and get the ones that need it some mental health care. Get the able bodies off the dole. Get any body from another country or state off our welfare rolls. Give them a ticket out of here and they can never come back if no job. Get school loans under control, pay the school directly, not the students. I'm tired of these buttheads using the money for anything but school. I don't care which party proposes it, just get something done that's common sense and please leave religion out of everything.

The Republicans have to find somthing they are for and be able to explain it to the voters rather than just being against anything the Democrats propose before I would vote for them again. Anything come to mind that does not go back to Ronald Reagan?

Republicans want the same thing as Democrats-money from Washington, borrowed from China; they won't have to decide if they believe in anything other than a cushy government job made secure by pleasant press from the editorial boards. Don't place faith in any politician, they run failed institutions full of greedy liars who are out to screw you out of your last dime, then blame the the repulicrat in the "other party".

China will not borrow any more money to the United States, this is winding down. We have our own stimulus package and the results are impressive, we've actually given the money to the bottom sector of the economy and it now is trickling up, unlike in the United States, where the stimulus money was given to buy the bad toxic bad loan debt and will never, never be seen by the people who need it in the first place, the individual to buy goods and services.

Yes! Vote Republican! Vote for their health plan. You know the one...'Don't get sick, but if you do DIE QUICKLY' Vote for more deregulation. You know...like the type that allowed Wall Street to bet on shaky mortgage assets with no oversight and almost caused GLOBAL FINANCIAL COLLAPSE. Vote for more offshoring of Jobs. You know, like all the jobs that left your state and the rest of the nation to foreign cheap labor. Vote for the collapse of the auto industry. You know.. the American Auto industry employing millions of people in this country that the last Republican President left to die. And lastly, Vote Republican so you get great looking chics like Palin that we can croon over and look right through their eyes to the back of their heads. You know the type... the ones who cannot handle a Governor's job in s small state. But hey, those airheads can learn on the job in 2012 right!!!

You can't do that if the money is already spent, which happens when you push obligations forward thru bonding, payment delays and other tricks. All you've got left to pare is the rainy day fund. If you start out in the hole, and you then balance the budget...THAT's your budget cut.

The G.O.P. has perhaps the most formidable list of quality candidates since as far back as the Herbert Hoover Administration.
