I don't get why the initial count is completed within 24 hours, but the recount can take months.

Poor republicans, they just are never quite able to accept defeat. Mark Dayton has over 8000 votes they need to manipulate away from voters intent and that is not likely to happen.

We can also thank the RINO Republicans, Arnie Carlson is the leader of them. For years we had to hold are nose and vote for the liberal Republicans as they made it through the primary. Finally we said enough is enough and put the Conservative wing in power. What did he and his cronies do, run crying to the Independants. He sits in his Ivory tower and says I told you so. If Dayton is Wins, he wins. The Conservative movement will take him out in 4 years at the polls. May the RINO's never see the light of day again. Stay in your Ivory Tower and Whine you Liberal Republicans.

They never mingle with our society.
They don't mix with the normal people.

If you are normal people, you want to choose left or right.
You want to choose one person among 20 people.

But they cheated you in fact.
This noble like society choose one politician for the left wing.
And one politician for the right wing.

Then you go to vote, and you must pick up the one you don't like.
The right wing had a better one, but you can't choose it, because the party choose another,

That's not democracy.
It's a noble like society, a close society, that decide for you.
That decide for the country.

We should have to choose among ten politicians in the left wing, and 10 politicians in the right wing.
Why do the party choose for you which one is the best?
This choose must be done by the voters.
Not the noble politicians school party.

Believe it or not - some of us (a goodly number of us) are what you call a RINO. The GOP keeps throwing super-right candidates up there we'll vote for people like Tom Horner. The party has driven us all out. Those of us in the middle make or break elections. Independents gave control to the Democrats two years ago and this year, we took them out. The same thing can happen to the Republicans in two years. It might be good for the extremists in both parties to take heed.

It's a state issue, but it will have plenty of high caliber attorney's from both sides involved. Unfortunately, republicans will continue to whine after Mark Dayton is our Governor.
