We of the right new this charge was bogus.
Norm is perhaps a lot of things, but he is not a crook.

I sincerely hope this bone head in Texas gets nailed. In doing so he will serve as an example to others to stop influencing political races with outright lies.

Franken, on behalf of all the crooked left, should apologize to Norm for stealing the election.

Sling enough mud and eventually some of will stick long enough to cause the intended damage. Couple this with the ACORN integrity issue and we come up with some very compelling arguments our junior Senators right to that seat is in question.

Then again, what should we expect from a world that hands out Nobel prizes based on intentions and not accomplishment? In this kind of world, anything goes as long as the desired results are achieved. Liars, cheaters and haters have replaced character and commitment as qualities we expect from our elected officials and their cronies.

Typical Democratic tactic. Make up charges just before an election. Paying the legal fees is not enough. Until someone goes to jail for lying it will never stop.

Franken may not have done it personally but he is responsible and these lies were the only reason the race was as close as it was.

Even with this lie Franken lost. Without it there never would have been a recount for Richie to fix.

We have the sleazy Franken because of a fraudulent claim of a crime.

Decent Democrats, if there are any left, should be ashamed.

These three crybabies should go and hide themselves and not post such incendry BS. If the writer wants every politican to go to jail for lying the party of NO would be decimated. Does anybody who knows Coleman really believe that this debacle didn't take place. As far as President Obama justifyingly winning the Nobel Prize for PEACE I believe that we can give credit to Bush/Cheney and that whole gang for Obama winning the prize. He is trying to undue all the harm that the neo-cons did to the world by there hard headed FAILED foreign policies.

I couldn't agree more. Bush & Cheney set the standard for this type of behavior, and were rewarded for it. Eventually, their entire party came crashing down as a result.

If every politician that lied were to go to jail, BOTH the democrat and republican parties would cease to exist.

I remember when republican Arnie Anderson threw accusations at hie rival for the endorsement just a few days before the nomination process. He certainly stole that election with lies and innuendoes.

The abuse of the legal system for political purposes should be punished. There never was any case, and the DFL knew it.

Attorney Fee's The Entire Election should have been thrown out. PERIOD
http://buckeyeinstitute.org/article/1207
posted October 14, 2008

COLUMBUS - The Buckeye Institute, a Columbus-based think tank, today filed a state RICO action against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on behalf of two Warren County voters. The action filed in Warren County Court of Common Pleas alleges ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime. It seeks ACORN's dissolution as a legal entity, the revocation of any licenses in Ohio, and an injunction against fraudulent voter registration and other illegal activities.

The whole thing was so baseless and everyone knew it but no one said a word. Neither person was a good candidate but Franken was the worse of the lot. I'd love to be on the jury for this one. At least my vote would count.

Lies. The recount process was open and in public. Coleman's team watched the whole thing. The remaining questions were examined excruciatingly in court. There was no fix. Even Coleman's attorneys said that there was no fraud. They had some disagreements with court decisions. Anyone who calls the election fixed is either an idiot or someone so blindly backing a candidate or party that reason cannot penetrate (perhaps both).

Anyone who is not a Democratic party hack or an AM950 fan knows that Ritchie threw the election to Franken. He decided to recount in places he knew he could find improper ballots that he could say were Franken votes and not recount in areas were the same standard would have found more Coleman votes.

Ritchie is an embarassment and a crook. He and Franken have a lot in common.

If it was up to Ritchie, ACORN would run the next election.

Coleman IS a "crook".
Franken won fair and square - according to the election laws of the state.

Another thing: All the precincts in Minnesota were recounted, not a select few. You are probably confusing that with the contention that some areas were stricter about enforcing absentee ballot rules than others.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
