It will be great to see President Obama over the next 5 years add three more Supreme Court Justices to the two phenomenal selections that he has already placed on the high court in Justice Hagan and Justice Sotomayor. That’s where Elizabeth Warren will be such an asset for President Obama in getting who he wants confirmed to the bench.

That’s why I said good riddance… the thing the Democrats are beginning to realize that they have to fight these right-wing bastards, that’s why President Obama’s poll numbers are improving, because after initially crushing the GOP with one political/legislative victory after another he seemed to have given in to the republicans too often. But his recent speeches on saving the middle class and taxing the wealthy all while beating the republicans on taxes has rallied Americans back to his side.

The Republicans called this the "Cornhusker Kickback." It is a cute way to label it corruption — which it is. It is the bending of a federal law in order to buy the vote of one legislator.

For this a Republican will get his seat!!..And THATS GOOD!!

What we need is a true progressive to take his seat in the Senate.

A quick history lesson ....

Nelson wasn't the only Senator who was bought.

All of the Kenyan lizard's payoffs to buy off Senators to ram through Ocommiecare were despicable .... including Lousiana ($300 million in Medicare subsidies), Nebraska, NV, MT, WY, ND, and UT ($2 billion in Medicare subsidies), VT ($600 million add'l medicaid pmts), MA ($500 million add'l medicaid pmts), CT ($100 million), and 11 other states who get $8.5 billion in medicaid payments.

Personally, I think republicans will once again, shoot themselves in the foot in their attempt to fill the Nebraska seat.

The tea bagger party still carries too much weight in the GOP. When John Raese was expossed as a lunatic, he lost to democrat Joe Manchin, when a sane republican should have won in Virginia. Same with Christine O'Donnell losing to Chris Coons. After Bachman and Palin endorsed her, she grabbed the spotlight, giving people the opportunity to see that she was clearly the poor choice for republicans, except for the typical 22% who are too uninformed, uneducated and inept to see beyond their far-right noses.

The best example though was Sharon Angle in Nevada. Harry Reid's seat was all but lost untill Angle stepped up to the podium. She's a far-right fasciest who might have done well in 1939 Italy..but not in America.

I think the same thing will happen in Nebraska.

The tea baggers will prop up some other lunatic that runs on moronic wedge issues like abortion, immigration or gun rights. Nebraska might be a pretty conservative state, but their not stupid. And their are lots of registered Independents who are way too smart to vote for a tea bagger endorsed republican.
