President Obama always makes great selections for important positions and this one is no different… The middle class has a fighter in the White House and we are so thankful for it.

People are spending more money than they are earning. Who needs a new agency to be a consumer watchdog?

We have needed jobs ever since Obama came into office and he has concentrated on transfer of wealth and line the pockets of his supporters.

We have to vote Obama out in 2012 and put America back to work.

We've been waiting for boner and the baggers to come up with the jobs they promised over a year ago. All they have is tired OLD ideas. OLD ideas and the rewhiglicons/baggers/birthers are synonymous. Teabaggers. Epic fail.

How many job bills have been passed by the Republican led Congress in the past year???? Zero!!! How is Obama going to create jobs without the assistance of Congress? If Congress is obstructing any progress that would be facilitated by Obama, how in the heck can he do his job?

Ok ok, now let's look at reality here. Under Obama, there were more jobs created in 2010 than Bush created in 8 years. Oh, and let's not forget to mention, when Bush could not create more job stimulus, he and his cronies decided to re-define restaurant jobs as manufacturing jobs so that it would look good for his re-selection.
But back to the facts!

In my opinion, it is not up to Obama to create jobs, it is up to businesses to create jobs in America. Which means Congress has to give them incentives(bribes) to bring jobs back to the USA.

They have been in control for a year and nothing is done. Just like all of the other years when they were in control. Instead of changing and progressing our country towards the good, they always decide to obstruct the president if they are Democratic. It is all a game to them.

I am aware of their control of the house, not senate. Most bills are introed in the house, even if they start in Congress they have to go to house, where they can die or go on. To be honest, I think most of the Congress is useless and needs to be replaced. That means Dems and Repubs. After their child show of control this fall and its effects on the economy, I don't for any of them!!!

Agreed, I'm for many of the things some of the GOP candidates have said about it, espeically the part time congress suggestion of Perry. I'm not advocating his election, I think there are better candidates, but I do know that it works well with the Texas legislature. Or maybe term limits as there is in the Executive Branch. I think the years since 2006 have been pretty damaging.

Republican nut jobs in the House have sat on their fat thumbs and NOT paseed a jobs bill when they had the chance- they blocked Elizabeth Warren and could have approved her appointment as Consumer Protection Chief, and now get her in politics where she will handily take back Kennedy's seat from over the hill boy gigolo Scotty Brown.

LOL

Cordray as Warren's deputy will serve well.

I love how the Reich, especially over at the Fox Ministry of Propaganda bitch about the "recess" appointment when Obama has recess appointed fewer people than Tush did by a landslide.

I say Obama needs to govern without the do-nothing congress and recess appoint everyone, and end-run congress at every possible turn.

At least it shows he's willing to govern while Rethuglicans ride pogo sticks in congress.

12 months ago, BEFORE the republicans took over the house, and, as you said, obstructed all of obama's policies and plans, unemployment was 9.1%, last week it was 8.5%. looks to me like the republicans obstruction IS doing something...
and, if the -sshole harry reid would bring the 23 republican house job creation bills he has buried, to the floor of the senate, i bet unemployment would be down to under 8%...

hey! it looks like harry reid could end up costing obama his job!

LMAO!!!!!

When Bush had recess appointments, the Congress was ACTUALLY IN RECESS.

Obama thinks he's a DICTATOR.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
