No there's no proof on that. Senator Mel Martinez advocated for her release so have other prominent politicians. I trust those people more than the VC government or your word from the sound of your tone. You are not the judge and jury of anyone.

There is the process of law in a country that respects the constitution and an independent judiciary. The trial or charges brought her was not transparent, no press was allowed to cover, no evidence was given to the US diplomats.

The VC government can say whatever they want it doesn't mean it is the truth. Tell me why is it that the US State Dept. asked for her release if she was 60 year old terrorist! Give me a break, dude! She is a grandmother who is active in Republican politics in Florida.

Do you have any evidence to your claim or just speculating about Sen. Matinez?

Ok, let's say that you are right that Senator Matinez needed votes, so he called for Cuc Foshee's release. Is this bad? Is this a crime? Should we prosecute Sen. Matinez?

In fact, if it is true, that's great. It shows that our votes are very important, very powerful in a democratic society. Because of our votes, gov't officials respect the people. Democracy respects the people. The main reason why those VC officers do not respect VNamese people. Corruptions are lack of repects to the people of VN.

Don't try to insult Senator Martinez intelligence or ours. Such slanderous rhetoric shows no decency.

If you were to research a little about the Senator Martinez you might understand that he has sincere sympathy to Vietnamese refugees, he himself was a refugee from Communist Cuba. See the attached bio.

There are standards of law that civilized countries follow and practice. Kangaroo court system in Vietnam is not exactly up to international standards of jurisprudence.
