Even if China isn't drilling... why aren't we?

Lets be real. Our infastructure as it is now, retail stations, refineries, and autos on the road... dictate that we're many years from an alternate fuel being viable on a large scale. Meanwhile, theres billions of barrels of oil all over the coastal regions and in Alaska that we're being too hippy to go tap. And the same people that comlain about drilling also complain that our government and President are responsible for the high prices... its called supply and demand. When you have too much demand, and not enough supply, prices go up. You offset that by adding more supply to the market.
