Rasmussen: A survey of 15,000 adults (yes FIFTEEN THOUSAND) adults show a 2 point DROP in the number of democrats, 38.7% down from 40.8%, and a half point. 33.2% drop from 33.6% in the number of republicans. The Independents who during 2008 affiliated with democrats are walking away. 2010 is going to be very interesting if Obama and Pelosi keep yanking left. Disclaimer: Numbers in this poll reflect adults, not likely voters. Republicans are more likely to participate in an election than democrats.

Sometimes levity is the best medicine. And ESPN was using a form of sarcasim to show how crazy it is to tell some one who knows they lost they won. Sometimes it takes a little far fetched humor to show how dumb an idea can be. I lost alot of games too and you know what? I lived on happily. We are telling our children they do not have to try they are owed success, when in reality success comes with hard work. Amen G!

Are you for socialism or against socialism. That, is the question.
I, for one, am against socialism.

However, that really isn't the case at all. If you used a yardstick to measure right and left with the furthest right being zero and pure anarchy, and the furthest left being 36 and pure totalitarian communisism where is the argument today? If we go back to the years from 1776 to 1787 under the Articles of Confederation we would have been at 1 because we just fought a war to free ourselves from an oppressive government. However, those Articles simply didn't work, they were too little government, too little central power. So we moved to the Constitution which would have put us about 3 or 4. Just enough government to govern, yet not enough to rob any of our freedoms. Where do we find ourselves today? We are arguing with the republicans at about 29 or 30 against the democrats at about 33 to 34. So in reality our great debate is between the left and the very far left. I for one would love to see us all the way back to the 3 or 4 at our original Constitution.
