Full story: Fox News

The chairman of the Senate Budget Committee said Sunday that the two parties probably will not be able to agree on a budget plan before the election, even as his panel prepares to hammer out a fiscal 2013 blueprint.

We'll never see a real budget again. They will keep creating emergencies and jacking up taxes until there is only an upper and lower class. Thanks Obama. I see your change now.

Here's how bad Obama SUCKS....

President's budget sinks, 97-0

By Alexander Bolton
05/25/11

The Senate voted unanimously on Wednesday to reject a $3.7 trillion budget plan that President Obama sent to Capitol Hill in February.

Ninety-seven senators voted against a motion to take it up.

Democratic aides said ahead of the vote that the Democratic caucus would not support the plan because it has been supplanted by the deficit-reduction plan Obama outlined at a speech at George Washington University in April (which was rejected as well).

0-97 Unanimous rejection

By POLITICO STAFF
05/26/11

The budget proposal released by the White House back in February didn’t win a single vote in the Senate on Wednesday— the final tally was 0-97. Senate Republicans pushed for the vote as a counterpoint to the defeat of Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget plan.

POLITICO’s David Rogers reports:“The vote on the president’s plan turned into a rout, with neither Republicans nor Democrats voting in favor of taking it up. At one level, the 97-0 vote showed how out-of-date the February requests can seem after so much has changed in the spending debate already this year. But for Democrats, it also proved a convenient way to mask their substantial internal differences over how to proceed” on addressing the government’s fiscal problems.

House rejects Obama budget, 414-to-0;

March 30, 2012
By Han Bader

The House of Representatives yesterday rejected the Obama administration’s proposed budget 414-to-0; it failed to get a single Democratic vote. As Ed Morrissey noted,“the President wants to keep proposing massive deficits, increased spending, and higher taxes ... This is the second year in a row that Obama’s budget couldn’t win a single Democratic vote in Congress. In parliamentary systems, that would be a vote of no confidence and the party would be looking for new leadership.”

The Truth about Obama’s Budget Deficits, in Pictures

Mike Brownfield and Emily Goff
July 28, 2011

Through the fog of the debt limit negotiations, President Obama has attempted to shift the blame for America’s deficit crisis to politicians at large, claiming that “neither party is blameless for the decisions that led to this problem.” Though the culture of overspending is endemic in Washington, don’t let the President fool you—some are a lot more guilty than others.

The fact is that Obama’s budget would set America on a dangerous fiscal course that leads to massive deficits well into the future—hitting $1.2 trillion in 2012 and, after dipping slightly, rising back to $1.2 trillion again by 2021.

As analyzed by the Congressional Budget Office, even after the massive tax hikes included in Obama’s budget, federal deficits total $9.5 trillion. In other words, under his budget, the President would more than double the national debt in just 10 years.

Simply put, Obama’s budget (which didn’t even win the support of his own party in the United States Senate) would push America over a fiscal cliff.

To be fair, President Obama did inherit these programs. So, has he proposed remedial action? No, he’s acted to make the entitlement excesses worse by pushing through his Obamacare health care reform, which created a whole new entitlement.

Without a doubt, deficits during the Bush Administration were too high, especially in the early years. More could and should have been done to restrain spending. But, without a doubt, the Bush deficits were puny compared to what Obama and his congressional allies have inflicted. For Obama’s apologists to seek cover in the Bush deficits is shameless. To use these diversions to now take attention away from the real problem to which Obama has added is outrageous.

The most embarrassing part of watching this guy on Fox News Sunday was his trying to explain why some spending resolution was better than a real budget. To see a grown man, supposedly intelligent enough to be Budget Chairman, trying to sell such hogwash as truth had to be the single worst moment of the whole interview. No one with even a modicum of accounting background or just plain common sense will buy that. I think what I resent most about this administration is that they truly think the American public is dumber than a stump.

Duh, given that reTHUGlicans have made it a POINT that they will compromise on as little as possible until they get their shot at Obama in November's election. They would rather see the government and the country go down in flames than concede anything to their hated antagonist Obama!
