In the politcal world , this has nothing to do with anything. Conception occurs all the time . I say to the news folks, stay out of the family buisness!

No it's not anyone's business about a candidate's (any candidate from any party) family, but the Republican's (including Sarah Palin) have been preaching abstinence and elimination of sex ed in schools for years and years. And they have been preaching the horrors of working mothers -- "mothers work, families suffer." Double standard, you bet! Does this happen to many American families, yes, but that doesn't mean it's Ok. If Sarah Palin were what she says she is, she would choose to be a support for her daughter as opposed to campaigning. Sarah Palin has lots of good years ahead of her. She needs to be with her daughter and her family right now. Her daughter needs her more than we do.

It is not her mom's fault. At 17 she is old enough to make her own decisions, right or wrong.

Setting up daughters and women for unplanned pregnancies..........Priceless .

If that is the case, all you working mothers should quit your jobs and go home to YOUR families. Then maybe there would be more jobs for men,so they could support theirs. Works both ways don't it?

Abstinence only education doesn't work. Palin's daughter is proof of this. Teens need to know what to do if they just can't just resist having sex. They need to be told about outercourse and condoms and spermicides and other types of birth control. Ignorance is not bliss.

No judgements need to be made. 17 year old girls get pregnant every day. She made a bad choice. It's a private family issue that is only in the news because of the girl's mother. If she wasn't so intent on running for office, she'd put her family first, and tell the media to piss off. The media is out of line with this story.

Let the family deal with it privately.

You are the only one I have heard anything about this alleged Biden scandal from so I will have to check it out.

Since when is a 17 year old high school senior having a child out of wedlock not a scandal. Is this a new GOP/Right Wing Wacko Family Value? Exactly when does the GOP/Right Wing Wacko crowd think it is ok for unmarried folks to start having sex. Does it depend on the venue, 13 in Kentucky and 16 in Michigan?

Abstinence only sex ed is a proven failure. Palin is going to stick with it even though it did not work in her own home because she is a Right Wing Wacko.

As far as Michelle goes you guys have been railing on her for months. Now you are all family values touchy feely when your own candidate has a few black sheep roaming the countryside. You guys had your fun with Michelle, Wright and Edwards, now it is our turn and I hope we put the wood to you. It IS a private family matter. Her advocacy of abstinence only education has nothing to do with the fact that her daughter made a poor decision. It's just that her daughter didn't learn the "abstinence" lesson. That happens to millions of girls every day no matter what their parents advocate.

You keeping saying abstinence doesn't work yet kids get pregnant all the time. Do you offer proof of your plan working? I've asked for your proof before and still you have not provided a thing.

Troopergate- This one shows your own hypocrisy. In GR the female cop issue you ranted on is a perfect example of nothing yet you demanded she be investigated. In troopergate, the trooper was actually making threats to kill her husband and her sister, tasered his 11 year old son and she called the DPS commissioner and wanted something done. IN that case you see it wrong for the executive, Palin, to do something. Damn Pete which way do you want it?

You have no creditability when you pick and choose issues only when you can contort them to seemingly support your opinion.

You shrug off Biden's sons issue even though Biden Sr took steps to make sure he distance himself from that one. Why do that if the Biden's son wasn't guilty of something. You never answer questions about your radical left positions or the radical left positions of your peeps.

It's ridiculous to compare this story to the GR cop.
Even if Wooten was a complete prick it was a conflict of interest for Palin to get directly involved, especially for events that happened before she was elected. Clearly unethical at best. Abuse of power at worst. This is why you don't see judges and prosecutors handling cases involving their own family.
