McCain: It's Time US Acted 'On Behalf Of The People Being Slaughtered' In Syria

Full story: CBS Local

Sen. John McCain says the United States should find ways to help the Syrian people under siege from President Bashar Assad, without putting American "boots on the ground." McCain tells "CBS This Morning" there are several options available, ranging from medical care and technical assistance to safe havens for refugees of the violence.

Yes, let us open a camp in every country in the world. We're close there John.

Why stop there? Why not just send every last member of the military off our soil. I mean, we need to save the world, right? Who cares about the people that pay for these "acts" John?

We need to right this disaster of a few years, bring our troops home and protect our own damn borders WITH force and no Liberal whining, and also not accept anymore "refuges" from poor countries.

When we worry about other countries more than ourselves, we will become those countries.

Exact same rhetoric.

After Syria, is Iran.

What is happening in Syria is the development of a "civil war".

Ordinary citizens are arming themselves and are attacking Syrian troops and trying to influence them to join the rebellion.

Sorry, John-Boy (McCane). It is NOT the US's job to police the world.

In fact, it is time to take care of our OWN country for a change.

(Had we taken care of our country all along, it wouldn't be in such a bad way, today)

Give it UP John.

RON PAUL 2012!

These neocons can't make up their minds. On the one hand, they say Obama will attack Syria just to get re-elected. On the other hand they are saying he is weak for not attacking Syria.

VOTE OUT ALL NEO-CONS!

Neocons don't really care who is elected or why. They just want more GOVERNMENT WELFARE contracts, with lots of pork, no-bid contracts, and no oversight.

No John.

It's about time the U.S. "acted on behalf of the American people" for once.

Instead of Wall Street and lobbyist.

As for Syria, have a talk with head honcho of the CIA David Petraeus.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
