2 Once again, you lying neo-conservatives try to twist the truth, and misdirect: No one has questioned McCain's citizenship. The point is McCain was born outside of the USA, in Panama, before Panama was 'legislated' to be part of the USA in terms of citizenship. Under the consitution, which you view as flexible when goals of the neo-conservative political superstition is concerned, McCain is not NATIVE BORN. That is, he may not take the Oath of Presidency. WAKE up Mr.Mitt Romney. |

I do not understand how so many legislatures take the population they have been set a charge to protect. As such naive and illiterate group of citizens believing they do not grasp the letter of the laws purpose and intent.
The judiciary tip toes with the matter rather than clearly say what the wording in writ indicate. There can not be any first rate American English student who cannot define the words indicative of "out of the limits", not simply "limits and jurisdiction" of, as the debaters presents the matter. Essentially it introduced an action of law for general use, that would allow its citizens who were away on soils not immediately US controlled to retain for their children the rights of belonging. That legitimized arguments and released the travel restrictions, that are encased within the territorial docum of countries and nations. Regardless of that idiosyncrasy and travesty attributed to the founding fathers. The words "out of the limits and jurisdiction" would indicate the affirmation in constitutional text as being. Where the US hold no legitimate rights to, other than those of one of its citizen, away from their natural birth. Further having not relinquished their citizenship. Contrary to what is inferenced within the debates, it does not mean to limit the individuals rights to citizenship. Due to the place of birth being not a territorial hold of the US. If a matter should be debated I do so simply from photo than fact from writ. It is whether John’s father was an enlisted man or simply touring with his grandfather in the Canal Zone. The matter is the moore unclear as to whether his mother was a citizen. In that matter I have an opposition to today’s judicial proceedings, but it’s a mute matter presently although critical. 1 Well after the 2000 election fiasco where they{democrats} tried to keep out the military vote, nothing surprises me,after all this a party who relies heavily on illegal aliens, dead people and people not smart enough to fill out a voting ballot. |
Yes. His parents were American-born citizens or naturalized citizens, so it doesn't matter what land HE was born on: it matters if his PARENTS were citizens at the time. Worse case scenario: he has dual-citizenship. I'm all for getting on McSame's case for other things, but this is a case of misdirection by the Democrats on this board and elsewhere. |

1 I'm terribly sorry to tell you, natural born means born within the borders of the United States. There was a case of Franklin & Elenor Roosevelt's eldest child being born in Canada. They called a Supreme Court justice to get a ruling on that senerio. The justice's opinion was he wasn't a natural born citizen. That child never ran for the Presidency. |

1 And the Supreme Court justice was wrong. A child born to American parents, even outside of the country, is a 'natural-born' citizen. It wasn't, and isn't, supposed to lay on the PHYSICAL location of the parents, but on the fact as to whether the parents in question were LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS or permanent residents before the child's birth. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court justice was wrong in this case, and if someone is stupid enough to take this to court, we are going to see the Supreme Court rule that McCain or even Obama are natural-born citizens. Personally, I am all for getting rid of the 'natural-born' citizen thing and putting into place a requirement that you be a citizen of the United States for at least 20 years before you can run for the Presidency, 10 for the Senate, and 5 for the House of Represenatives, and I am a 'natural-born' citizen, born in Maryland. |
