3 Liberals are always shocked to find a woman who votes republican...there are massive numbers of us out here-start paying attention. What women's rights are you referring to? I would bet a million dollars you will bring up the tired old abortion issue. Most women are pro-life and over 50% of the country is pro-life. What else ya got? |

1 So, a guy who left his loyal wife for a woman 25 years younger and wealthier, thinks he's their answer versus a guy who raised by a single mom is still with with his original choice for a spouse? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You Republicans are actually becoming humorous. |

1 Hey, enjoy the humor. We are still laughing at the Slick Willie years and wondered how the NOW folks were able to sleep at night. Perhaps they were sleeping with Slick Wille. He really did have a great deal of respect for women, all of them. And if Hillary becomes the next VP, it can start all over again. Yippee Skippee. You are really humorous. |

1 I had somewhat of the same problem with my pet cockroach. It would appear and disappear any time a black Cadillac SUV would drive by my trash bin. I was also receiving odd signals from the goverment sattelites as they passed over. I solved my problem by fashioning a three cornerd hat out of aluminum foil and wearing it constantly. And now I also receive Clear channel radio for free. |

When people step into the voting box do you really think they are going to think Obama was raised by a single women or McCain got a divorce and married a wealthier women? Yeah I think I'll vote on this or something even less important! If the public didn't care about your Democratic presidential womenizing affairs then they are going to care less about your points!! |
|
Great observation. Now if we could only get the media to look at this guy who has been a senator for only 143 days and qualifies for the democratic party's candidate to run the country. What's wrong with this picture? |

Yeah, poor guy can't retire not enough money. Poor Mr. McCain - no hobbies - no interest - other than politics and money "GREED". But, at 72 his days will still be numbered. And, we will be rid of him.

2 The poll is from Rasmussen...9 per cent say good or excellent, 52 per cent say poor. Many feel members are only in their positions for their own career/ career advancement, not to help the people. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_conten... |

1 It's also Bush's fault that A-Rod fooled around because A-Rod played for the Rangers at one time and Bush owned part of the Rangers one time. |

I still say that if you sing the new John McCain Campaign Song available on www.myxertones.com that McCain will win the election! Give it a try!

That's a lot to be proud of. I guess if one sets the bar low enough one can be successful. |

If it's not open to the public, it's not a town hall meeting. Why don't you reporters get it? You erroneously reported the last McCain closed-to-the-public meeting in St. Paul as a town hall meeting too. Thank god for blogs. Political reporting at daily newspapers sure doesn't exist anymore. They're merely stenographers for campaign press releases.

The focus is the woman voter for this pitch. Barack has the support of women focused organizations and 12 years, that's 4383 days of experience supporting legislative issues from being pro-choice to supporting health initiatives for women AND children. Women are going to care that after 25 years of being in federal office McCain has not supported ONE piece of woman focused legislation, not even equal pay for equal work. NOTHING. That's what women will think about when going into the booth. Clinton got a pass because in the arena of his job- he was 100% on the issues, even if the women didn't want to marry him- which they did. McCain has been 100% wrong AND a cheating husband. Guys like you will vote for him because you want to be him. |

Post McCain's record
Obama Passed Equal Pay Act In Illinois To Give 330,000 More Women Protection From Pay Discrimination. Obama co-sponsored and voted for the Equal Pay Act which provided that no employer may discriminate between employees on the basis of sex by paying ages solely on the basis of the employee's gender. According to the AP, the "Illinois Equal Pay Act expands the federal Equal Pay Act of 1963 to give about 330,000 more women in the state protection from gender-based discrimination in pay" by applying the law to companies that employee 4 or more people, rather than the federal standard of fifteen. Obama attended the bill signing on Mother's Day of 2003.[93rd GA; SB 0002; 2003; Signed into law, 5/11/03, PA 93-0006; AP, 5/11/03; Chicago Tribune, 5/8/03; Chicago Tribune, 5/12/03] Obama Passed A Law To Create The Victims Economic Security And Safety Act (VESSA), Which Would Help Victims Of Abuse Seek Treatment Without Losing Their Job. Obama was the chief sponsor and voted to created the Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act. The bill provided that an employee who is a victim of domestic or sexual violence, or who has a family or household member who is a victim of domestic or sexual violence whose interests are not adverse to the employee, may take leave from work to address domestic or sexual violence by: seeking medical attention for, or recovering from, physical or psychological injuries caused by domestic or sexual violence to the employee or the employee's family or household member; obtaining services from a victim services organization for the employee or the employee's family or household member; obtaining psychological or other counseling for the employee or the employee's family or household member; participating in safety planning, temporarily or permanently relocating, or taking other actions to increase the safety of the employee or the employee's family or household member from future domestic or sexual violence or ensure economic security; or seeking legal assistance or remedies to ensure the health and safety of the employee or the employee's family or household member, including preparing for or participating in any civil or criminal legal proceeding related to or derived from domestic or sexual violence. The Chicago Tribune reported, "But VESSA, as it is known, allows time off for personal issues not covered by the FMLA and is designed to help victims keep their jobs." Obama said he sponsored the bill after being approached by several advocacy group for battered women. "They came to me and indicated how difficult it is for victims of physical and sexual abuse to deal with the repercussions of an assault and then try to balance it with work and everything else." [93rd GA; HB 3486; 3R P 58-0-0, 5/20/03; Signed into law 8/25/03, PA 93-0591; Chicago Tribune, 8/20/03; University Wire, 8/22/03] |
