If you ask me, the only way Paul has a chance of winning the conservative repub vote (which runs the party) is if the repub party goes against everything they stand for if doing so gives them a chance of winning back the Oval Office.

This is simply inaccurate information and misrepresents Paul's position.

Paul is fanatically NOT Pro-Choice at the Federal level because Paul does not even believes that the Federal level should come into the equation. Paul is an advocate for states' rights and firmly is against the Supreme Court decision, which does not even necessarily legalize abortion at the federal level. Ron Paul himself is staunchly pro-life, and believes that it should be a state by state voter decision, because again, he is a staunch advocate for states' rights.

Furthermore, all the aforementioned negatives that you mention fall into the same category. Therefore, the Republicans and Libertarians would not be 'changing' there position on anything, but rather reinforcing their constitutional stance on states' rights.

As far as his foreign military policy, he is simply reinforcing the American tradition of not engaging in Imperialist aggression and preemptive strike, but using the military for its proper use -- homeland defense.

Furthermore, there is as much 'evidence' that Iran has a nuclear weapon as there is evidence that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction -- NONE!

I think too that Ron Paul is the only chance of USA, US nation and republican party for restoring and recovery. He is really the only normal, honest, good candidate there.

by the way what is the problem. It is very good that he wants to bring back US troops to USA,end these wars, he does not want to make wars with another countries and he does not want to start global world war and he wants to stop to care about wasting money for wars. His domestic proposals are good too, many economical proposals are good, he will be better for middle class than Obama.
And what about prostitution,it is good, what he proposes, it is rather logical view at this problem. I know, that you think that it is no prostitution there, because you are ,,christian,, country. Certainly that it is prostitution in your country and many men make sex with prostitutes and then they catch so HIV or HCV or HBV or another dseases and they transfer it to own wives just like another women. and Legalisation of prostitution will be connected with for instance with regular medical examinations for instance in direction of HIV, additionally it will be women, who will be healthy. It is another impossible way to change, dfor instance stop with promiscuitism, but it will never be in your country. Then legalisation of prostitution is not such stupid and strange idea.
