So the way to get illegal immigrants to stop being on the "wrong side of the law" is to change the law so that what they're doing is legal.

How in the world can we improve border security if we essentially tell all future illegal immigrants that they will eventually get legalized if they sneak in and wait around long enough? The last mass amnesty/legalization/path-to-c itizenship, in 1986, was for about 3 million people. This time it will be 15-20 million. What will it be in another 20 years? 50 million? This is insane.

The Constitution starts - We, the people of the United States. Think about that for a moment. The people of the United States are represented by elected officials. The people of the United States does not include citizens of other countries. The people of the United States want immigration laws enforced. The people of the United States do not want amnesty for illegals. The people of the separate states of the United States approve of laws businesses must follow in hiring. John McCain may be a maverick but he must realize he represents the people and not the newspaper editorial page. Jane Healy and her editorial writers represent a minority of people of the United States and even though they think they are smarter than the rest of us they are still a minority of the people.

When you read these bleeding heart editorials keep in mind the source. The Slantinel "feels the immigrants pain" Oh sigh! Sniff, sob, I'm tearing all up just thinking about these poor refugees only seeking a better life here. Boo Hoo.

Then I sober up and read the laws governing immigration into Mexico and I realize the double standard. We could only dream we had such laws here.

Speaking of Jane Healy, isn't that picture of her a bit scarey? If I was half asleep and she appeared looking like that at the foot of my bed I'd let out a scream. That picture looks like a character from the "Night of the Living Dead".

Here we go again, another sob story with the sentinels own slant. These parasites have broke at least one law by being here and probably more now that they are here all to better themselves. OKAY, which law do I get to break to better life for myself and my family.Remember 1986 "NEVER AGAIN " are the words I heard come out of Ted Kennedy's pie hole."NEVER AGAIN". What is orlandos policy on ILLEGALS. I'll bet they look the other way.

McCain needs to listen to the majority of Americans who want border security and for criminal aliens to be prosecuted. No if, ands, or buts. He'll need to take a strong stand against aliens or risk his chances with the base. Don't allow yourself to be bullied by racist groups like La Raza and 15 million or criminals. Listen to AMERICANS. I'm off the McCain train and joining Bob Barr.

Praps the good folks at the Sentinel could direct some of their energies towards trying to pin Barry down on his ever shanging stands on things. Oh yeah, I forgot. Probing questions of Barry are racist.

The Sentinel doesn't place much value on U.S. Citizenship. "Comprehensive immigration reform" is a catch phrase for amnesty. What is the meaning of citizenship when the rewards to illegal immigrants trump the penalties of his illegal presence and give him financial advantages over citizens? Now that's alright so says the Sentinel.

What of the following does the Sentinel not understand?

From the Naplesnews.com
Collier County, Fl
About 22 percent of all crime in Collier County is attributed to illegal immigrants, Hunter said. Also, 40 percent of all felony warrants and 60 percent of murder arrest warrants in the county are for illegal immigrants. Some of that crime is committed by members of violent gangs, like MS-13.

It costs $24,774 per day to house and feed illegal immigrants in the county jails, adding up to $9,042,444 per year. That doesn’t include the costs for judges, juries, prosecutors, public defenders and other court-related costs.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in
your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say,'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all
the beds and washed th e dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors.
I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house

You are Required to feed me

You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan

You are Required to Educate my kids

You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family (my husband
will do all of your yard work because he is also hard working and honest,
except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force
me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs
that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you
have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a
hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break
into your house and what a deal it is for me! I live in your house,
contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing
you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish,
prejudiced , and bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE so you can communicate with me

Secuing the boarder first is more in line with the "hard liners" of the Republican party???????

Over 85% of the AMERICAN PEOPLE, not just Republican, Democrat, Indpedents, etc, favor SECURING THE BOARDER FIRST!!

Just another example of the left-wing, liberal newpaper the citizens of Central Fla are subject to day in and day out!!

McCain who? I thought the next president is Obama! McCain is just a dupe decoy fullfilling the party obligation to have a candidate. The math says he doesn't have a chance in h*** of winning. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why the dems put up a black candidate, they know whoever they offer is a shoe-in.
It's a SNL fantasy and the Dem candidate is introduced. Hi! My name is Joe and I'm your democratic candidate for president.(SNL) We'll Joe can you tell us where you stand on things?(joe) What difference does that make? I'm the democratic candidate you have to vote for me!(snl) Can you tell us your last name? Na! that's not necessary, vote for Joe that's all you need to know!
Yuck! I need to work on my comedy and I don't have it anyway.

Mccain needs to go home and live among his "god's children". Conservatives who want the laws enforced and not just secure the border. Washington DC has allowed this to happen while catering to big business and it all will be at our expense. While both parties candidates are promising amnesty, it will be hard to deliver. Next time there wiil be more politicians scare to back it. The majority of the citizens want the laws enforced. the politicians, just don't want to hear it.
