This foolish effort is like compromising on the shape of the earth or the direction of gravity. The debate on global warming is in fact over, and emerging scientific evidence shows that Al Gore's fantasies are dead and dangerously wrong. The only thing to do with this climate-change monstrosity is to kill it.

You're right, the debate on global warming is over--there is complete scientific consensus that man-made global warming is happening.
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/30... The only "emerging scientific evidence" against global warming is similar to the "science" perpetrated by consultants who were paid by tobacco companies that found that smoking was not harmful to human health. In other words, it has no actual scientific legitimacy. Check out globalchange.gov and you'll see that the NOAA, the National Science Foundation, USAID, and the US Departments of Energy, State, Transportation, Interior, Defense, Health & Human Services and several more are all in agreement about global warming caused by human activity. They encourage swift action on the part of our government. Senators Lieberman, Kerry, and Graham represent an admirable multi-partisan force working to craft a strong climate bill and Sherrod Brown should join this effort to pass climate legislation as soon as possible. Apart from the economic benefits this bill would have for Ohio, its passage would be the responsible way for this country to finally take action on the overwhelming evidence of global warming. Senator Brown, please do the right thing and work with fellow Senators to pass this bill. |

The debate is over global warming is BS and the ones that vote for it are history.
2010 and 12 brings change and hope we can count on |
