This is news? More like a GOP advertisement. Also, that George Will "commentary" was a nice fluff piece for Rick Perry......

Josh mandel is a disgrace. He lacks honor and a brain. Maybe that is why the conservatives are behind him.

Agreed. Who is Josh Mandel?

An endorsement by Jim DeMint for fund raising purposes may not be seen as an asset, if Josh Mandel has to take the Grover Norquist pledge of allegiance.

He is an obstructionist republican with a strictly political agenda for cutting funding for the US economic recovery.

__________

You are soooooo right DrC, and so clever as well.

I mean it is quite clear that ONLY conservatives are capable of lacking in honor and a brain.

I mean, to prove your point, look at all of the conservatives that have been in the news lately because of their honorless, brainless, and disgracefull behavior. Rod Blagojevich, Anthony Weiner, John Edwards.

Darn those conservatives...

Thank you, thank you. I'll come back for my encore in a little bit. Remember mandel was sanctioned for erroneous campaign ads and is suspect on using his office for campaigns. This from a guy who claims to have honor. He doesn't. Where does he stand on anything? Nobody seems to know.

Instead of Republicans picking someone who has a chance; someone who has more than 6 months of experience, someone who is respected, they support this clown. Well, have at it, I'll be laughing when Brown beats this guy down. And sorry, Coughlin, though the better candidate than mandel, won't get the nomination.

A bobblehead doll would be an improvement over Brown, just saying.

LOL ohio votes for republicons yet we wonder why the country is in such dire straits. The gop works for rich white people only. They refer to every program that is beneficial for average Americans as entitlements but the 4 trillion of corp welfare shamelessly sought by them is job growth stimulus. It's not hard to see the truth. Any politician that thinks we should cut grandma off rather than tax big oil and rich people is a piece of turd.

Literally, ANYONE from ANY party who is going to protect the rights of the TAX PAYERS should be voted in. Far too long, the people following the rules, living UNDER their means, and NOT taking handouts but taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY must get voted in.

Too many traitors in this country, bringing local and national governments to their needs, while they CREATE MORE "needs".....

its simple. Countries are like businesses in the sense they live by a balance sheet and when revenues are down, not only must the entity make cuts it must find ways to generate more revenue. Business usually make balanced cuts across the board from CEO compensation to what kind of tp they keep in the bathroom. While enacting the necessary cuts, most businesses do whatever can be done to make more money thru generating increased sales or services. Governments when faced with economic problems make required cuts and raise more revenue thru tax increases. Taxes are the necessary evils of having a capitalism based democracy. Republicons and and conservative idiots should leave America if they don't like it. The tax rate for wealth individuals and corporations is at 1957 levels. The problem here is we live in 2011 and there are twice as many citizens in this nation than there was in 1957. Couple this fact with the inflation of prices on everything thru the duration of the last 50 years and its simple to see why the 1957 tax rates don't work. Let's not even mention the republicon prescription program or the war on turrer lovefest, lol. Where were you idiots back then? Lol.

Great. Mandel has zero personal accomplishments, and is already mailing in his duties as State Treasurer after only a few months on the job.

This guy serves his own quest for power and money, not the people of Ohio.

If you play by the so called rules set by someone else for their own advantage but who dont give a rat's behind about you, it is to your benefit to think for yourself and to learn for yourself that the ends justify the means.
