The GOP "family values platform" is not just a joke but a total embarrassment.
Yes it's true, kids with rotten parents regardless of party affilliation, no matter what kind of help they may get rarely do great in school.
But some do. The fact that some kids actually manage to do pretty well in systems like foster care, is all the reason necessary to continue with it.
