TV Preachers Under Scrutiny

“As an interested and concerned citizen it kind of disturbed me”

Is a million dollar home an excessive reward for heading up a global ministry? Just last year, Joyce Meyer Ministries, based in Fenton, defended the rewards Joyce Meyer and her family enjoyed from their work. via CW11 St. Louis KPLR-TV

No I don't think it is an excessive reward. God blesses his children. She is definatelly a child of God who dedicates her time and money to doing what God calls us to do. God is a loving and generous God. He knows the desires of our hearts and loves to reward us. So don't be jealous and thank God for people who dedicate their lives to sharing the Gospel to every tribe and every tongue like Joyce does.

I haven't read much about the issues of tv preaching being under scrutiny. I vaguely read about Joyce. However, I just wanted to say that having a lot of money (ie. excessive rewards) or having the ability to buy most of what one desires is not a 100% sign that God favors someone, in my opinion. Even some atheists have money and possibly more that tv preachers. There are those who don't have money, but they dedicate their time and what they do have to God and what they believe calls them to do yet they have little to no money. My point? Having money is not a sure fire sign that God favors someone. Ofcourse, I believe God favors all people since all people are God's children: money or no money.
