Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, 1961. Joan, a 19 year old Freedom Rider, was sentenced to two months in prison for her involvement in the integration of a Jackson, Mississippi bound train. She served more than the required two months because each addition day reduced her $200 fine by $3. In the Fall of 1961, Joan transferred from Duke University to historically black Tougaloo Southern Christian College because she felt integration should be a two way street. Today Joan is a retired teaching assistant living in Virginia and mother to five sons. After the 2008 election she brought her Obama pin to the grave of Medgar Evers.

I am not anti-gay, I am very much for gays. My brother is gay and has been in a relationship almost as long as I have been in mine. The difference in time is only because he's four years younger. I wanted proof because I don't go around saying things unless I know it to be true. Have a good day.

About the topic... <<Christian hate: Sarah Palin supports anti-gay Chick-fil-A>> She’ll do anything for publicity, especially if it panders to her favorite crowd, those people who stage hostile protests wearing colonial hats with tea bags dangling from them. It’s just another a “photo op” with the marginal fringe. Since I’m not into boobies, I find her uninteresting and unappealing. She’s no more than just another person who hates gays, along with just about everything else that’s not centered around her. A for Chick-fil-A, if its food were halfway decent, I’d certainly boycott it, but I’ve found it too gross to go back anyway. As for Christianity, like any religion it does not scare me per se. It’s the faithful that you’ve got to be concerned about because disagreeing with them can get you killed before you can say “Jesus H. Christ.” Hitler hated gays, but he also hated Jews, gypsies and especially anyone who dared to disagree with him about anything. So what have we learned?

Here we are, days after the majority of American's showed just how much they support you radical queer's and you're still yapping about Sarah Palin? What have we learned? We've learned that you are obsessed with Mrs. Palin. A lot of homo's adore Cher and Judy Garland, but this is a new twist. Contact your local Tea Party and they may be able to get you a wall poster or something. PS: God will forgive even wayward homosexuals, if you denounce your sin and accept Jesus as your savior. That's not too complicated compared with how you are living your life.

As I told you previously, Mongrel,“I’ll be pleased to argue with you but only if you don’t try to set me up to argue against ridiculous assertions, a practice that is hopelessly futile because it leads nowhere, and don’t try to insult me by using derogatory names or other insults in lieu of valid arguments.” Would you care to try again? I will no longer respond to your requests to argue if you don’t make a better showing. Unlike God, I do not want to keep trying to talk to rude Christians who know only how to insult to make an impression.

Good people do not become bad people b/c they hold to a different view than homosexuals. People are allowed to voice their own beliefs and convictions. And if for some reason they are contrary to another persons, then they need to get use to it, because no one put anyone in charge of deciding what everyone else needs to believe.

No, the only reason it was a success was because it included teabagger's and conservatives FAVORITE pass times, being intolerant and EATING. In tight ass land that is called a win win. And Sarah Palin, she is so trivialized and forgotten it is as if she never even appeared those 4 years ago. Bye, bye, don't forget to turn off the lights in Wasilla.

Having a black (actually a mulatto, 1/2 White & 1/2 black.) president does not upset me at all. The only thing that he had accomplished was to confirm our warnings about having a minority in such a position. Anyway, there still have been more Klansmen as U.S. President than all blacks, mulattoes, hispanics, gays, atheists and non Protestant, non Gentiles combined.
