2 What does a VP do? Here's a picture of my home town, beautiful downtown Wasilla. I was mayor there! http://etcetera.the27.com/2008/08/downtown/ I had so much fun spending all that money on the land for the sports stadium! Someday, maybe they can even afford to build the stadium! Tee Hee! When I'm President, I'll know exactly what to do! I was commander in chief of the Alaska National Guard for two years! Russia is so close, it's scary! Jesus wants you to vote for me so we can make those sinners teach creationism in the schools! Buh-by! |

1 She's a milf. This choice of running mate was designed to attract guys and girls. Choosing her was pure tokenism. If America falls for this ploy then they deserve what it gets. |

I agree. But politics has always been this way. Tell them what they want to her and we'll deal with it later. |

1 Steve Israel is NOT running for Second-In-Command to a cancer stricken 72 year old potential Commander in Chief. By the way, happy birthday, John McCain -- Remember Katrina. |

1 Judgement to run this country? He never had any to begin with!!! I am still in amazement that the Democrats have not raised the Dubai Ports issue once yet.....remember Jan 06 when McInsane SUPPORTED THE SALE OF THE 8 LARGEST EAST COAST SHIPPING PORTS TO DUBAI??(yes Dubai: the country that supported the 9/11 hijackers with the $$$....the country that held a pro-Iranian rally last year in their soccer stadium featuring Ahjmaninejad.......... McInsane |
America voted for the last Republican for President and look where it got us! Millions of jobs lost,$4-$5 a gallon gasoline, unbelieveably high home heating cost's this winter, Social Security threaten, and scores of mismanaged Federal Department's and Agency's. Yep I am surely going to vote Republican Again Not!!! |
|
Tired: That why you look up what they have accomplished the last eight years and vote accordingly. It really is a no-brainer election this year. McCain is the Scarecrow, all straw! |

I'm sure the Republicans and John Mc Cain were certain of the Alasaka Governors acceptability among their Core Republican Constituency before picking her as the VP on the Mc Cain ticket. Those Oil Company's would have known she will help keep the ball rolling, the oil profits flowing, and nary an environmentalist in sight.
So for Republicans/Oil Giants Governor Palin is the prefect choice. U.S Troops, not so much. Because she epitomises everything except the normal gender of 'Good Old Boy' personna of the Republican Party. We Democrats feel her being picked will be an enormous help to Swearing in President Barack Hussein Obama on Januray 20th next as the 44th President of the United States. I have to admit though, I'd love to see her pay a state visit as president after Mc Cain has gone into vapor lock, to Saudi Arabia. She can bring her staff of fundamentalist Christians along. |

Have to agree with you here. I feel insulted that McCain would think he could win just by picking a woman, any woman, to run as VP. I was on the fence up until now - for the first time ever I had not made my decision who to vote for this close to the election. Now the decision has been made - I definitely will NOT vote for McCain. I still do not know who I will vote for, just who I will not. C'mon Barack - SHOW ME THE MONEY! |

1 Here's what Palin told the Anchorage Daily News on October 22, 2006, during the race for the governor's seat (via Nexis): Q: Would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges? Palin: Yes. I would like to see Alaska's infrastructure projects built sooner rather than later. The window is now - while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist. http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_plank/arch... |
