Mitt Romney goes bold (and risky) with Paul Ryan vice presidential pick

Aug 11, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Washington Post

The news that Mitt Romney is expected to name Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee today in Norfolk, Virginia amounts to a decidedly bold stroke for the typical risk-averse GOP presidential candidate, a pick that will almost certainly turn the race into a choice between two competing - and strikingly contrasting - visions for ... Biggest question if you don't work and have to make a choice over food and insurance -- which one will you pick
question is, if your not working why arent you?

Mr. Romney had demonstrated as a viable statesman in his overseas trip. Unlike the way of Obama speaking as if he looks like sleeping during speech all the time, Romney spoke eloquently in England, Poland and Isreal.

Romney aspired matters by being communicative and alert all the time WHEN GOING ON A FOREIGN TRIP, showing his functioning ability as a president would.

It appears Obama is short of ability --in comparison to Romney, due to Obama's lacking capable skills and effective communication.

Obama has show dismal weight in his stand and deposition. Obama cannot exhibit like a remarkable figure.

Somehow, Obama has been leading some people astray, owing to lacking any performance in his public acts. Obama regards the importance for private intimacy acts with spouse or kins, more than the working tasks of doing public policy and enactment. Any public figure should take aside the moments of intimacy gestures during a basketball game or other unrelated activities, to concentrate in the performing public position of the job, including the president.

It is time for those people who have been feeling confused because of Obama to wake up to the consciousness. It is time to be embracing a new future, in order to become constructive and productive, to be guided by the next President and Vice President-- Romney and Ryan for 2012--to be elected.

You haven't heard? If Romney wins the election, the deal is that he will shortly resign and the white-trash tea-party fascists who
are in total control of the GOP will get their ultra-right president.

Good bye America.

Where do you think teabaggers would be without the Soviets?:
Everyone knows that Tea Party revolutionaries fear and hate socialism about as much as the Antichrist. Which is funny, because the Tea Party movementís dirty little secret is that it owes its existence to the grandaddy of all Antichrists: the godless empire of the USSR.
What few realize is that the secretive oil billionaires of the Koch family, the main supporters of the right-wing groups that orchestrated the Tea Party movement, would not have the means to bankroll their favorite causes had it not been for the pile of money the family made working for the Bolsheviks in the late 1920s and early 1930s, building refineries, training Communist engineers and laying down the foundation of Soviet oil infrastructure.
Here is a better historical fact, one that the Kochs donít like to repeat in public: the familyís initial wealth was not created by the harsh, creative forces of unfettered capitalism, but by the grace of the centrally-planned economy of the Soviet Union. This deserves repeating: The Koch family, Americaís biggest pushers of the free-market Tea Party revolution, would not be the billionaires they are today were it not for the whim of one of Stalinís comrades.
Who knew that the commies wouldn't have to fire a shot to bring America down.
All they had to do is hire a teabagger.
Thats funny.LOL>>>>

What if you're working one of those good Republican jobs (minimum wages or less), and can't earn enough to afford both insurance and food? Which do you choose?

Remember, Republicans will have destroyed all such things as welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, etc.,
etc., etc. and the aristocracy considers you to be nothing buy a starving peon undeserving of help.

GOOD! I am glad that Bishop Romney chose Paul Ryan as his running mate. Now there is NO WAY he can run away from the Ryan Plan -- "Perhaps the most fraudulent budget in our history" according to economist Paul Krugman.

Now there will be a clear choice before voters in November: return to the failed policies of the past AND turbocharge them OR continue to repair the vast damage of those failed policies.

As a rational person who learns from mistakes, e.g., the Bush Lite tax cuts -- I am happily voting for Obama.

Bold is right.

Ryan's Budget would result in 4.1 million lost jobs in 2 years. Ryanís budget calls for massive reductions in government spending. He has proposed cutting discretionary programs by about $120 billion over the next two years and mandatory programs by $284 billion, which, the Economic Policy Institute estimates, would suck demand out of the economy and ďreduce employment by 1.3 million jobs in fiscal 2013 and 2.8 million jobs in fiscal 2014, relative to current budget policies."

Response to "The Whiz:"

Under Obamacare, there will be a slowdown in increases for nursing homes and other eldercare facilities. Increases will occur but will be less frequent and less likely to cover the expenses incurred in such facilities. At the present time, unless nursing home patients have divested themselves of their real estate, savings and investing at least five years before entering long care, it will be used to pay the bills. An extension of these limited increases will be the projected windfall from personal resources going back perhaps a decade or more.

There will be cutbacks in reimbursements from Medicare advantage health insurance plans. This will raise premiums or increase copays for visits or treatment. As it is, many doctors do not accept Medicare patients because the reimbursements do not cover their costs in certain cases.

Romney solidified the Democrats and independents by picking Ryan. He pretty much has given the win to the Democrats. Romney had the chance to break tradition and pick a female or a minority but he didnít. I think itís going to cost the Republicans.

It will be four more years with President Obama. Thatís my prediction anyway.

I plan to vote for Romney but I'm afraid it's going to be a win for the President.
