Van Jones Was Right: Republicans Are A-holes (Video/Audio)
*It looks like former Obama adviser Van Jones was right on target about the Republicans when he called them “assholes.”
The evidence was on display for the WORLD to see last night when South Carolina Republican and Congressman, Joe Wilson shouted “you lie” when President Obama, during his speech on health care reform to Congress, said his plan would not pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants.
Wilson's outburst even drew a rebuke from Obama’s presidential opponent. Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) called it “totally disrespectful, no place for it and he should apologize.” Various House Democrats demanded the same. One reminded that House rules may have been violated. Good call Senator McCain. We’ll strike you from the a-hole list. At least for now.
For the record, Congressman Wilson has apologized, but the question has to asked: just why did he blatantly disrespect the President of the United States? He says he let his emotions get the best of him. Uh, yeah, you sure did.
