The constitution is the LAW, and the Second Amendment is a major part of the constitution. Anyone who would abridge it is breaking the law and is a traitor.

The title would be better served if it read: Liberal politicians don't want brave men to have guns.
Wolves in sheep痴' clothing occur all of the time in our day and age. There are a lot of them. Their names include Tim LaHaye, the late Jerry Falwell, Sun Myung Moon, Benny Hinn, Kathryn Kuhman, Paul Crouch, Chuck Smith, Hal Lindsey, Rick Joyner, Paula White, TBN, Calvary Chapel, etc. Benny Hinn promotes "love gifts" to financially advance his "ministry." These people have links to the Pope, the Knights of Malta, the CNP, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and other like minded organizations. The Ecumenical Council for National is a leader of the religious establishment in the Right paradigm. Tim LaHaye made the blasphemous remark to Moon that: "...Your suffering will cleanse the sins of America." Sun Myung Moon claimed to be the Messiah, gave Falwell $3.5 million, and done other nefarious acts before. LaHaye promotes the Left Behind series (it promotes the Jesuit-invented pretribulation rapture. Even the early Church and the scriptures talk about the saints suffering martyrdom during the reign of the Antichrist). Moon was once crown as the Messiah of the world in a heretical fashion (in March 23, 2004 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Many people were present like TBN President Paul Crouch, Reverend Jerry Falwell, 33rd Degree Freemason Robert Schuller, Kenneth Copeland, Pat Boone, and others). Moon said that Jesus failed on his mission to Earth, but Moon has not. This is similar to the Freemason Joseph Smith claiming to represent the fulfillment of the church prevailing over Hell. Moon promotes his Unification Church. He even meet with the late Pope John Paul II before. We need to trust in the Lord God alone not in man. The Council for National Policy is an Ecumenical group indeed that tries to control the religious compositions of man. Its made up of so-called Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Charismatics, Catholics, Mormon, Masons, etc. It has 500+ members and they meet one or twice per year. The group has CFR members in them when they claim to be an alternative to the Council on Foreign Relations. The Knights of Malta are linked to the CNP. In fact, Jerry Boykin (an ally of Rick Santorum and Tim LaHaye. Rick Santorum is running for President and he's a strong war monger and pro-austerity, deficit hawk advocate) and Rick Joyner are members of the Knights of Malta.

Human beings possess a strong self-preservation urge, as well they should - and a gun is very often the best tool one can have on hand to counter a threat to one's life, and/or the lives of one's family members.

Police cannot protect citizens, and even if they could, they do not have an obligation to do so. One must accept responsibility for one's own security.

To deny a human the right to defend him- or herself from any threat is the most grievous crime against humanity that I can think of. Human enslavement, you say? Genocide? Well, that kind of thing can't happen to an armed populace. Hitler's holocaust, together with a world war, began by disarming the German people. So to own a gun for the purpose of defense is one of the most universal and basic human rights - period.
So to say that only real men don't need guns is ridiculous.

EXACTLY!
.
And again, as before:
覧覧覧覧覧
"The great and rich should by no means have it in their power to set a price on the security of the weak and indigent; for then riches, which, under the protection of the laws, are the reward of industry, would become the aliment of tyranny.

"Liberty is at an end whenever the laws permit that, in certain cases, a man may cease to be a person, and become a thing. Then will the powerful employ their address to select from the various combinations of civil society all that is in their own favour.
.
"This is that magic art which transforms subjects into beasts of burden, and which, in the hands of the strong, is the chain that binds the weak and incautious. Thus it is that in some governments, where there is all the appearance of Liberty, tyranny lies concealed, and insinuates itself into some neglected corner of the constitution, where it gathers strength insensibly.

"Mankind generally oppose, with resolution, the assaults of barefaced and open tyranny, but disregard the little insect that gnaws through the dike, and opens a sure though secret passage to inundation."
.
- Cesare Beccaria,'Of Crimes and Punishments - Of Acts of violence'
覧覧覧覧覧
.
"Mankind generally oppose, with resolution, the assaults of barefaced and open tyranny, but disregard the little insect that gnaws through the dike, and opens a sure though secret passage to inundation."
.
When has it not that ever been so ...?
.
Just think:
.
[1] The so-called "USA PATRIOT ACT."
.
[2] The so-called "NDAA of 2011."
.
History repeats itself at the hands of the 'appeasers.'
.
Appropriate quote:
覧覧覧覧覧
No man survives when freedom fails,
The best men rot in filthy jails,
And those who cry 'Appease! Appease!'
Are hanged by those they tried to please.
.
Hiram Mann

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Proposed Virginia Constitution, 1776

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." -- Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

Anger? Who are you to judge me? You have a problem with hoplophobia and you need shock treatment as well as a lobotomy from an insane asylum. We stay away from EDPs (emotionally disturbed persons) like you.

Unlike you you sodomizing never crosses my mind. It tells me what is on your mind though. You really need to be checked out especially before you carry a gun again for the safety of the public.

Ensure that you're acting in everyone's best interests and not just your own, or you'll really land in hot water!
