GOP Senator: No "Death Panels," Palin "Nuts"

Full story: snafu-ed.blogspot.com

Another GOP legislator has stepped forward to reassure constituents who have (apparently) listened to falsehoods about possible "death panels": they do not exist. The Republican senator, Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA), made the statements in an interview with Washington Post columnist Ezra Klein Monday.

If she were only nuts, that would be one thing. But, she is ignorant, hateful, nuts AND she has a bully pulpit thanks to the MSM who continues to cover her every phricken move.

This country, at least her 1/2 of it, is truly pathetic.

Palin stands as much chance of getting elected to high office as Juice Simpson does.

Looks like there are two.

Rep. Jack Kingston from Georgia also said Palin is full of sh*t.

Can Isakson explain why Zeke Emanuel, who openly defends providing health care only to those who can contribute to society, is a top medical advisor in Obama's health care reform?

Read the article he co-authored this January. Check out page 428, in which he outlines why infants and old people are less valuable than others, and should be lower on the treatment list.

The durable power of attorney section of the bill is supported by nearly everyone including the AARP.

There is one group, Right to Life, I think, that supports the idea, but doesn't support the bill as worded because they are afraid seniors could be pressured into signing something like a "no resuscitation" clause.

This idea of "death panels" being legislated is clearly a scare tactic.

The Dem's have their share too, but I can not remember us running one for VP or Pres.

Lets hope the Republicans keep her.

If Glen, Rush and the rest keep this up it is going to make it difficult for them to mount an effective challenge to control at any level of government.

I can just see every Republican running (except those like this one) being linked to the disinformation campaign and then an announcer asking if you can really trust this guy to be honest with you.

I thought after they lost all power they would sober up and start acting conservative again. They need to go into rehab.

Palin just makes it up as she goes along! Has she even read the bill? Of course not, too many big words for her to understand!

Exactly. I read the bill and there are many disturbing things that are open to wide interpretation.

When it comes down to it, Obama's Health Care guru has said all along that Euthanasia is necessary for the elderly, terminally ill, handicapped, etc. so what do you think is going to be implemented?
