If the bill would have allowed you to secure insurance coverage over state lines the price of insurance would go down. Competition is the key to lowering the cost of insurance. Obama Care doesn't do that. And costs will drastically increase because of more people in the pool, insurance companies mandated to pay for free contraception, morning after pill, and we are not allowed to secure insurance at the best price anywhere in the country. If the bill would have put a lid on malpractice suits that have no merit, the price of insurance would go down too, it didn't because of the attorney lobby that was in Obama's corner. Also, Obama took 500 billion out of Medicare to start up the program alone. That means fewer and fewer medical proceedures for seniors and disabled Americans. The board will merely say the procedure is not authorized. So you have a option to pay totally out-of-pocket, or decine the procedure in the future. That is rationing and is the intent of Obama Care. Like Obama said, "maybe take a pill instead of having that proceedure". The plan was devised not to work as written, so that later they could install single payor. Wait and see. Also, when fully implemented you will see longer lines for service, less care, fewer doctors because they will have left the field due to the payment schedule making it unsustainable for they to operate, and months to get into see a doctor if you are lucky, and likely be told you cannot have a test based on illness, age and cost. That is what is coming in 2014.

Regardless of Roberts brain fart, and your displaying no shortage of humor, the law is unConstitutional. He likely is having brain functioning issues with his epilepsy, and he got muddled in what the media and Liberal Congress was saying about his court. He should not have listened to them nor read the slant in print. The law should have gone down on its lack of merit. He totally rewrote the brief, severely angered the other justices. There briefs were brillant. This has nothing to do with car insurance grape stomping bigfoot, it is about Freedom and Liberty and taxing us due to merely breathing. As to the eligibilty issue. Obama's birth certificate is a proven fraud, purpetrated by someone. And possibly Obama himself doesn't realize that it was fraudulent...I seriously doubt it. Nothing he does and says is not calculated to serve keeping him in office. Truth, integrity, honesty, character, are meaningless words to Obama and his Chicago crowd. Unless a case advances from the lower court to the Supreme Court nothing will happen. As Congress will not conduct a hearing on it. And if they did, Holder would just appoint of of his DOJ to investigate further after Congress voted that he was ineligible due to the B.C. being a fraud. In short, nothing will change until after November. Until then Bigfoot, extricate your paws from your mouth or where ever, and continue your journey in apotheosis glorifying your false prince. That's the Liberal unhinged mind for you, they must have their quota of adoration or else!

And if they are truly sick they need medical attention, we live in the richest country on this rock, why shouldn't we also be one of the healthiest? Equating this with Colorado's insanity is in itself insane. Young people believe they are invincible, are likely strapped for cash, paying off student loans, and can barely pay their car insurance premiums. Many have moved back home due to Obama's failure to get a handle on the economy, he's made it worse not better. Obama Care will further put America in the hole financially. We are 15 Trillion in debt, and closely approaching 16 Trillion. That doesn't include the cost of Obama Care start-up and continued drain of resources. 500 billion plucked from Medicare's cofer is what Obama took. We are already paying out more than our GDP. What does that mean? America is fastly approaching insolvency and becoming Greece. The Progressive Liberals don't care about where the country is going, the stats represent mere numbers to them, not relevant to their perscription for continuing down the road fueling more Big Government. Every doctor I have talked to this past year says they are evaluating continuing in their practice. I come from a family of five doctors, have several doctor friends too. They all are very concerned about what Obama Care is slated to do in respect to the patient doctor relationship, unsustainable payment schedules, government making the deceision on what kind of care a patient can have. In otherwords, a panel will make the choice of care For The Doctor based on age, cost, illness. Why do you think folks from Canada and England come here for knee replacements, cancer proceedures etc...? Because of the years to wait for that service in their own countries or never to receive. Most critically ill would just die before acquiring needed care their. America has the best medical care in the world and folks know it. Obama Care will make medical accessibility much longer, and fewer proceedures will take place because of the government making deceisions not the patient or doctor. I have other family members who work in hospital pharmacy administration, who indicate due to Obama's FDA policy fewer generic drugs have been made to serve the needs of critical patient care. Folks with various cancers are being deprived of drugs to keep them in remission because of an inept FDA Obama appointee. This is all about Obama Care and government failure to run anything efficiently. Obama Care will not be fully implemented until 2014. But as time passes, folks will see the affects of government getting in the way of their care, and they will not like it.

And in the health overhaul I believe some can stay covered under the parents insurance until the age of 29.

So tell me this, without a health care program, how will America remain a world leader. Are we just going to let those without die off? What of the next generation? Do we just become a country where the wealthy live, no middle class {workers}? I'm pretty sure you are capable as to see the result of those actions. Who can afford hospital cost now, I recently had a motorcycle accident, four broken ribs, partial collapsed lung, swelling brain, and small fractures. Most of the injuries are only healed through time and not using those parts, total cost:$80,000.00. Luckidly no operations, just three days in the hospital. If I had not had insurance you and other tax payers would have "footed" the bill. Sure, some will still not have coverage, but with the leagality to have insurance, more will. Why do some disagree with this mandate, we have automobile insurance {liability}for the same reasons.

We do not need government controlled health care. Anything the government gets it's nose in they mess up, create more agencies to oversee it, which equates to more mismanagement. Look at the GSA scandals of government gone wild. Again, the most important thing this President should be doing and is not, is getting the economy back on track and creating jobs. He talks a good talk, but doesn't walk the walk as they say. You are lucky the accident took place now, by 2014 who knows the level of care that you would have received for these injuries. Like I said quality of care and accessibility will seriously be affected in the future unless a new President comes in, throws Obama Care out the window all 2,000+ pages of gross legislation, starts from scratch addressing what really id needed to reduce costs for health care. PS Health care is not a god given right to all Americans the minute we breathe air, that entitlement theme is what is destroying this country. That mentality is not what built this country. If all Americans had to pay into the tax system is so way, they would be vested in the course of the country. Sad fact is, 49% of Americans don't pay Federal taxes so they vote for the candidate who promises hand-outs. Somewhere down the road those politicians run out of other peoples money and we risk becoming Greece. A revolution is coming, it began in 2010 and went grassroots so you Liberals thought it was dead....wrong. NOBAMA November 2012. This nations survival as the greatest country in the world will be determined by it.

I'm gonna go against the grain, as a person that makes a good living, we can easily afford a national healthcare and much more if we have a flat tax of 10 percent across the board, no loop holes, no nothing. We can't pretend to be a First World country when our healthcare system is out of control. Stick your head in the sand or in your mansion and the problem will not go away and will continue to get worse. We have way too many smart people here who can figure this problem out, but instead we spend countless hours flinging dirt and saying why we "can't". What if the founding fathers would have said, "we can't"? None of us would be here. A man is judged by the challenges that he overcomes and not how he lives.

How sad it is for the USA to lag so far behind two dozen other countries in the world in availability of health care, that children die here from tooth infections, that parents have to wait until children are seriously ill to take them to emergency rooms instead addressing these issues when they are nominal. What the Teabots insist we need more, alas, are more F-35s and more aircraft carriers...
