Santorum’s problem (along with the rest of these bigoted right-wing tea-baggers) is that he (they) constantly needs to release the built-up anger and anxiety of knowing that a Black man is President of the United States. Out of pure desperation they scratch and claw at anything that they hope will be a convincing attack to score political points against this President whose skin color and ethnicity (in their warped thinking) makes him and evil socialist Marxist Muslim – which for some is just substitute names to mask what they really want to call him… the “N” word.

“When you have a worldview that elevates the Earth above man and says we can’t take those resources because we’re going to harm the Earth … it’s just all an attempt to centralize power, to give more power to the government,” the former Pennsylvania senator said. This guy is a lunatic. There is no doubt he is certifiably nuts.

On Tuesday, political commenters reported that one of Romney's go-to campaign catch-phrases, "Keep America American," was a central theme of Ku Klux Klan publications in the 1920s, and served as a rallying cry for the white supremacist group's campaign of violence and intimidation against black Americans, as well as Catholics, gay people and Jews. The progressive Americablog first posted examples of the overlap, and a spokeswoman for Mitt Romney declined to comment on the matter when reached by HuffPost.
