YAY!! Obama coming to GR!! We need a change in Washington and anyone who can't see it has been living under a rock or in a cave. Perhaps because they can't afford housing?

He is NOT offering change, he talks the talk but doesn't walk it, just another politican. And anyone who thinks he is going to bring change needs to climb out from under their rock....He's a politian, the only thing that will change is how much more is coming out of my paycheck for the special interests he has during his term of office.
He doesn't want our vote to count, wouldn't allow another vote, has stopped the dem's in every single way to get our vote counted, why is coming here to mich, i don't want to see or hear from him.. I'm changing parties!!

i don't think that hillary should give up. this is a race right and i don't believe that we should just assume that obama is the democratic #1.
michigan and florida was cheated out of their votes. and i know that those of us that didn't cast their votes for obama but for another canidate , will get to do what we
need to do in the end. so say that obama will win the democratic elections ,with clinton out, mc bain is looking better

Big deal so he is coming here-this is supposed to impress us ? What does HE want from us-our donations, our attention, what? Is he going to "cure Michigan" ? The whole presidential race is a joke.

It's great to see the level of discourse in W. Michigan. Really mature. Crawl back under your rocks if you still fit.

Good thing you're in Germany and don't have a vote here. Your words indicate you are no more progressive than your country was....say back in the thirties?

We don't need the white votes. Obama needs to look after the African-Americans in this country. When he's in office we'll finally have someone who'll look out for the African-American interests.

Obama and Hurricane Jenny should hit it off real well. Any one that is wondering what Obama means by change needs to look no further than Michigan the Welfare Wonderland.

Be respectable and do it the right way no matter what race you are. Voting for Obama just because he is BLACK, is not putting our country on the right path

If you support a war that is costing billions a day and no plan to end. If you support making the tax cuts for the weathiest 3% of this country to be PERMANENT. If you support continuing the rising cost of health care and oil prices. If you support American jobs going overseas or to Mexico then vote for McCain. I don't care if the next president is green with purple polka dots if that person can undo the mess that 8 years of the republicans handling things.. then what difference does color or gender make? Please look at what another 4 years of a republican controlled white house will do. McCain has no new plans to change anything. One reason I would never vote for McCain is that when he ran against GW Bush.. he railed on him worse than anybody about those tax cuts. Well now that he is the nominee and the big bucks are lining his pockets he is all for making them permanent. He is a coward and now he is siding with the money. He doesn't care about this country any more than any other republican.

Funny isn't it? he choose to skip coming to Michigan and Florida because he figured we were a waste of time because our voting got moved up, like we had a choice in the matter. Now, the race is close and we are "neglected." So he decides to come visit us now. I don't care for Hillary Clinton personally but this move lacks tact for sure, his first public speech should be an apology for walking out on the vote here in the first place.

Realize that Obama won Iowa with the majority of black and white votes. One could say that Iowa is one of the "whitest" states in the country. If this is true, I guess we have a candidate on our hands that appeals to a wide range of people.
