This is where the problem starts. Democrats have not had any solutions for years. They could cover up their flawed economics and policies as long as the tax money rolled in.
.
It's a far different world today than the 1960's one the Democrats are now stuck in. You have to accept flower power doesn't work in a world where you have a rapidly rising China, India, Brazil and others. The United States is no longer the only game in town, there's plenty of new places people can put their money and their beings if they so desire.
.
Supporting the Republicans is a wiser move as they will be prone to causing the lesser amount of damage in today's financial environment. We need less regualtion, we need less social engineering and we need people with a broader vision than pimping out wind turbines (as Obama does) regarding economic development and how we compete with rising economies around the world.

So now those tax cuts for the rich are Obama's tax cut's for the rich. I love it. Next Obama will be expanding the war in Afghanistan, oh, he already did that, hmmm. Keep Gitmo open? Yep. Does he have any ideas of his own?

Yeah but republican or democrat, at least you can have a normal adult conversation without bashing anyone...hmmm too bad others cannot see that it does not do any good to fight over it or call people names over it. Evryone is entitled to their own opinions. Especially when it comes to religion and politics. Thanks for the post.

Your comment about Republicans does show a closed mind. Deep down the Democrats use people to gain what ever they want, the recent 9.11 Responders bill showed that. They have no problem parading around the infirm and the crippled to gain an advantage in something they want. I credit Tom Coburn (R-OK) for standing firm and demanding better accountability as previous funding has had poor accountability with money disappearing into thin air.
.
I was a Democrat until the night of Jimmy Carter's crisis of confidence speech. That was the last straw for me in what has been a party trending from one that had an interest in people to one where it was a collection of self serving egos who blamed other's for their failures. This self serving trend has grown both in the party and the left wing elites they cater to.
.
The Republicans at least do not try to pretend they like you.
