The tail wanting to wag the dog..typical Black Power crap. 13% of the population wanting the rest of the nation to kiss their collective asses. I too am pissed off at the dam slave traders that brought African Slaves to America. The amount of misery that came out of this is uncalculable..not only for the Blacks but for the whites that continue to endure the hatred and the guilt that they thenselves had nothing to do with. We should round up the ancestors of the African Tribal Leaders that sold these people into bondage..the ancestors of the Europeans that bought, transported them, and re-sold them, and the slave owners and merchants themselves than profitted from slavery, and make them pay for their diabolical deeds. Not the innocent of us..for we are all victims now as long as these issues are not put to rest. Racism is alive on both sides of the Black and White coin as you can well observe by LATOYA'S COMMENTS.

Your question was "what does this say about America?". My point is that it says nothing. We are human and make errors in judgement. So what?

The constitution never condoned slavery during any time of its existence.
Alex, take a look at Article 1, Section 9, Clause 1, the provision that protected the right to continue to participate in the slave trade in the states that allowed it. If that is not condoning slavery, I don't know what is.

HERE IS A STATEMENT ALL YOU LIBERAL BLEEDING HEART IDIOTS CAN SINK THEIR TEETH INTO...YOU CAN TAKE THE AFRICAN OUT OF AFRICA..BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE AFRICA OUT OF THE AFRICAN. Look at what is going on through out Africa with Black African leaders in power. Look at the Major cities that are ruled by African American leaders, New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago, LA,...Latoy's comments..speak volumes of what we can expect from African American leadership..and the degree of reverse discrimination that WILL SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE ACROSS THE NATION. Be carefull what your asking for...we just might get it. Latoya made an extreme Black Racist comment...this is my white racist response! jump on that..

You are correct, and I will add that Bill Clinton (politically) was no fool. He played the race card too. He needed black votes and got them. Bill Clinton was the same kind of Christian Obama is trying to pretend to be.
You know the type. They carry a bible into church because they know the press is there, then have sexual trysts in the oval office with 21 year olds while they are married to someone alse.
Obama is no different. Calling himself a christian while nodding his head in acknowledgment and standing by a man that in no way exemplifies ANYTHING that Christ taught.
PURE POLITICAL HYPOCRITES.

yes indeed do i need any further proof that a war against the white race has been well under way for the past 50+ years? you can see for yourself the bitterness, anger, resentment, the delusion-illusion up to 90% of blacks are suffering from. their black race pimp hierarchy have fed them 'hate-whitey' ideology for decades and these wretched creatures just simmer waiting for the day when they can reach a tipping point to unleash all of their pent up rage that has been building within their black psyche for a generation.
when the darkies rioted in 1965 (watts), 1967 (detroit, newark) and a few other places they knew back then they could only go so far because 'the man'(the white established order) was comfortably in positions of majority rulership and would only tolerate their infantile tempertantrums for a short time. now when these bitter and unhappy ever complaining, never satisfied, crime ridden violent prone miserable creatures see one of their kind just might take the top job they feel exalted and will begin to think they can displace whitey from his rightful position in american society.
of course black people are helpless without the jews and those very stupid race traitoring self-hating and guilted-whites who will take the lead to overthrow the non-guilted whites from their pinnacle positions.
this nation will experience some sort of attempted black-bolshevik revolution if the black face gets in.

Bill DIDN'T name his book after him.
Clinton DIDN'T call him his "uncle, mentor, etc.."

There is NO comparison.....no matter how you try, you can't justify it. Sorry!
Yes I can justify it--we are NOT guilty by association!!!!

Da Fact of da Matta:
Is NOT that a largely sedentary white population overfed on McDonalds, Mastercard and the remnants of European civilization's love affair with itself is facing challenges from the world's lean and hungry, including here at home. That's history.
In the 90s we told the black man, go to school, wear clean clothes, don't rape white women, get a job; then come back and we'll talk. So he did all of the above and we thought, "Well, as long as he stays in professional sports and entertainment, I guess it's okay."
But in going to school, learning to read the law, agreeing to play by our rules, etc., he found that we weren't trying to help him up. But now, instead of singing songs and burning his own shacks, he is buying property, investing in his own children and seeing us in an entirely different light than we were taught to expect. The black man is competing and it's fine with our kids but not our parents or grandparents.
You can argue that artificial means like affirmative action and the Civil Rights Act shouldn't have been necessary, but da fact of da matta is that without them the traditions of the 17th century would have continued.
As a member of a minority I've always accepted the fact that I had to work harder, accomplish more, do more than my contemporaries to get a foot in the door. I resented this in my 20s when I was learning to deal with rejection and privilege. But as I grew, professionally and personally, the extra effort turned out to have been worth it.
The main objection to Obama is his skin color, not his politics or whose sermons he listens to or how much of a chip is on his wife's shoulder. This is a shame because we could really do with some enlightened and articulate leadership. The momentum built up since the 1960s is helping him but he is standing on the shoulders of others who we would have tarred and feathered 30 or 40 years ago.
The Neo-Nazis and white supremacists are choking on their jerky as he campaigns. The "moderate" older whites are trying to dissect his platform to prove that they object to him academically, not because of his color. But I think the country will take a roll of the dice with Obama and we may be better off for it. We may not, we'll never know unless we try him on for size.
We could do worse: the Republicans are counting on that.
This is wonderfully stated. I don't understand why every minority is not behind these statements. I am a woman and we, as women, have had to fight to be able to make it in a man's world.

the worst part is his wife was probably at church more than he was. I feel sorry for his children having to sit in the church listening to such hatred. I hope they don't need counciling to distinguish between fact and fiction. You'd think the Obama's would have protected their children better. This is how I view their judgement on running a country

<quoted text>obama said he didnt condone, that he told the rev, those remarks brought america down. he just said it again on larry king.
obama does not need to apologize for his pastor. the pastor is a grown man, if he thinks he owes america an apology, let me do so. i judge obama by what obama says, not his pastor, grandmother, wife or anybody else.
of course you're having a problem moving on even after his speech, you was not going to vote for him anyways before the speech and before the remaks landed on you tube. you're rationalizing why you never wanted to vote for obama.
i have not read any post on this thread that have said they will no longer vote for obama because of what his rev.said. obama speech did what it was supposed, reassure his supporters. independents have 6wks before the next primary and 8mnths before the general to decide whether the rev.words wont let them vote for obama.
these polls in march dont even matter.
If he had received the nomination, in all likelyhood I would have voted for him. I have not ever voted republican. It is not because of his color. If that were the case, I would not have voted for Harold Ford to represent me.

He does owe Americans an apology for his prejudices if he wants their vote. Perhaps he is in denial about his prejudices, but they are glaring. If he digs deep into himself, they are there for him to see. Yes, he owes Americans an apology for promising unification and delivering division. He owes Americans an apology, not because he chose one culture over another, but because he chose to use it for personal gain. He owes Americans an apology for choosing not to stand up against the racism of Trinity Church, unless... he believes in it.

Im really enjoying how paniced people become when they here someone veiws that dont aling with there own. Black people have voted for president after president that did little or nothing to adress there concerns heck we just happy yall "allowed us to partake in your precious elections" We know that the president doesnt care for us and that they only come to the black neighbor hood to shuck and jive to get the vote then they disappear. So im kinda happy that u queastion his intent im glad your queastioning if hes a racist as we have wondered the same thing for EVERY election. Slavery didnt end 200 years ago it eneded in the 60's! My mother can tell you how bad she was treated how she couldnt walk through the front door of ya fine white establishment etc.. And now all of act surprise when those feeling arent gone? Ya did nothing to right ya wrong and as long as you dont there will always be this tension

I suspect that there are two or three posters on here from his campaign that are working on damage control. One has said that he has not read that anyone has changed his vote. That the ones posting were never going to vote for him. He hasn't read the posts then. Campaign staff is my guess.
