Time will tell. He retires with one heck of a paycheck, moves into a jobe with another big payday. We will see if DC politics corupt him or will he find the halls of the Capital more dangerous than the battlefield.

He is being prepped. This is what I am seeing. The Republicans will slam the door on Paul for more Neo-Con Globalist stooges like Perry (NATFA Super Hwy) or Romney (MA healthcare that is broke and failing). With this, Barry Soetoro will we re-election.

Petraeus will then run on the Republican ticket in 2016.

The script is rather clear here.

The Soetoro administration has this revolving door where the players just change jobs and titles but are still there, or, players leave (like wall street stooges) and are replaced with another player from the same area (wall street).

This entire thing is a circus. Lets see how Mr Carnival Man (John Carney) spins this one.

On a side note, notice how ABC gets all of the exlcusives now? Wonder Why? Look at who is married to press secretary John Carney. Its rather amusing.

Hopefully the General will see the country needs him to lead the country, like he led the military. He is the only one, other then Perry, that could lead this country out of the doldrums left from Obama, Reid, and Pelosi

Obama Calls for Extension of Gas Tax to Fund Highway Construction, Repair. They samething he said of the first 870 billion in stimulus that mostly went overseas and to unions. Why believe him now.

President Obama speaks in the Rose Garden in Washington Aug. 31.
President Obama called on Congress Wednesday to pass a transportation funding bill that includes an extension of the federal gas tax, claiming the move would protect about 1 million jobs.

At issue is the renewal of a transportation spending bill that expires Sept. 30. The president, speaking in the Rose Garden, said a failure to pass the bill by that date would result in the government losing needed money and construction workers losing needed jobs.

"That's just not acceptable. It's inexcusable," he said.

Though the president describes the proposal as a transportation bill, its key component is the federal gas tax, which has been 18.4 cents per gallon for nearly two decades. The money is used to fund road construction and repair, as well as other projects -- the tax costs Americans an average of $100 a year.

We need a good retired 3 or 4 star general to run for president....they have made it to the top of a tough organization, they have skills, leadership, discipline, honor, bravery, etc...30-35 years of competing with other officers and the best of the best get to the top.

A retired 3-4 star general has what it takes to do the job, as opposed to a community organizer who had not ever had a job, has never lead men, never been involved in discipline, stood in a gunbattle with everyone watching him to see if he has honor and bravery.

First we need to ask how many children he personally tortured to death. Without a good number there the conservatives won't support him.
