UPDATED: Buyer will retire due to wife's illness
INDIANAPOLIS -- U.S. Rep. Steve Buyer tearfully said this morning that his wife, Joni, has been diagnosed with what doctors say is an incurable auto-immune disease, forcing his retirement from Congress.
